It's casting drama times two! Heroes casting news is the Paris Hilton of TV news, you just can't go three days without hearing about it. If you haven't heard about it, you must not come to this website often. Continue reading Kristen Bell is one of the Heroes
(S03E14) After minimal drama (drama that totally didn't live up to the previews), Jeffrey's outsourcing scandal was over and he was let off the hook. However, he was slightly over-budget, so he had to cut the blonde wigs out of his collection. I honestly thought the wigs would have negatively impacted his presentation, so it was probably lucky for him that he had to take away a couple hundred from his budget.Continue reading Project Runway: Finale (Part II)
(S03E12) Another season, another reunion episode that attempts to re-ignite flames from drowned embers. Could they have been any more desperate to start shit again? Seriously. Heidi and Tim were practically begging for Keith to have an embarrassing freak-out... for Angela and Jeffrey to throttle each other's throats... for Malan to get really self-conscious about his funny little laugh and shoot somebody in the face. (Un)Fortunately, none of that happened. There was a wee bit of heated discussion, but I didn't think it really lived up to the drama the previews promised.Continue reading Project Runway: Reunion
(S03E10) Damn those Project Runway producers. Damn. Them. To. Hell. How dare they bring back Vincent and Angela?... In the same episode?! I almost threw up on myself, I was so furious. I thought my Runway-related anger was ready to retire, but I guess it was too soon. No. The producers just had to make my blood boil one more time and now I've learned not to trust them. I'm ready for absolutely anything now... Go on, producers. Do your worst. Bring Wendy Pepper back and stick her in the final challenge.Continue reading Project Runway: Black and White
(S03E09) To finish up their stay in France, the designers were challenged to create a dress employing various couture methods, including hand-sewing, beading, and embroidery (learn more about haute couture here). Although their budget was considerably higher ($375 American), their time limit of two days left everyone in crunch-time from the get-go.Continue reading Project Runway: Couture du Jour
On the first season of Project Runway, just one
episode was enough to convince me that Daniel Franco was a little loopy. A little too much craziness and dancing but
not enough talent to back it up. When he returned for another season, he definitely toned it down a little (good for
you, Daniel!) but the folks at Project Runway still managed to portray him as the token weirdo. For example,
when the designers had to show Heidi their sketches and ideas for the lingerie competition, Daniel whispered to her,
"I want to show you something beautiful" and gave her this really weird smile. Whoa, buddy. Awkward. Well,
giving him the "auf wiedersehen" didn't end the creepiness because on the latest episode (the reunion one),
he said, seemingly out of nowhere, "I love you, Heidi".Continue reading Daniel Franco's not so crazy
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, a.k.a. "Michelle"
on Full House, have transformed themselves into glamour girls. They're the faces of the Badgley Mischka ad
campaign. Photos of the twins in expensive gowns will appear in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, and InStyle magazines this
Spring. Mark Badgley and James Mischka, creators of the fashion line, said the Olsen twins represent the edgy look
they're going for. "They have an amazing sense of fashion and individuality that intrigued us," said the
fashion duo in a statement. The New
York Times coined their style as "Bobo", or Bohemian Bourgeois, where they pile on a bunch of clothes that
don't match, but cost a bundle.
