(S02E05) "I would like to experience the world of Chuck Bass." - DanOnce again this week, we were treated to a rocking episode of
Gossip Girl, which included the usual backstabbing but also Jenny lying, Dan getting arrested and Chuck revealing a deep secret.
As a Chuck fan, I found the episode a little bit awkward but satisfying at the same time. It was uncomfortable to see Chuck at the bottom of the barrel and agree to hang with Dan because he was bored to death. However, Dan the following Chuck around allowed us to get to know Chuck a little bit more.

(S02E04) "This is your year to rule." - Chuck to SerenaBye bye The Hamptons. Hello Upper East Side. Senior year doesn't only bring back
high school uniform fashion but also the high school hierarchy system. Who knew, besides Chuck and
spoilers addicts, that there would be a change of power at school and that Serena would take back duties as Queen Bee? This plot line not only adds drama to the show (oh, how will dethroned Blair cope with her new place in the food chain?) but also offers those of us who never read the
Gossip Girl books a taste of what "old" Serena was all about.

(S02E03) "This party just went over to the dark side." - Gossip GirlWelcome to the dark side! Actually, when
Gossip Girl is concerned, we should probably talk about the darker side. Let's face it, most of the characters are already in the dark side zone. This week's power outage, along with Catherine's evil manipulations, only made said side much darker. Let's review how much darker
GG got this week, shall we?

(S02E02) "Marcus' mommy is even sicker than you are." – Blair to ChuckWe are once again in The Hamptons and things are still not peachy for our favorite troubled teens and their parents. Blair tries to please The Lord and learn more about him, Chuck continues his search for the piece of information that will have Blair come back to him and ditch Marcus, Serena and Dan think and get busy, and much more. But, as the quote I put at the beginning of this review points at, it's Catherine who wins the crown for most memorable character of the episode. And, as someone who already watched next week's episode, I can say that you ain't seen nothing yet. She is on sick lady.

Rock of Love's Bret Michaels was named one of the hottest bachelors of 2008 by
People magazine. But skanks like Daisy de la Hoya, Heather Chadwell, and Ambre Lake knew that already. Bret is joined by fellow television stars Mario Lopez, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and Brody Jenner.
He credits his awesome weave, always protected by a bandana or cowboy hat, as the major part of his sex appeal: "It creates this Tarzanesque, likable bad-boy image. It says, 'I am a wild child. I will take you on a Harley ride, then make passionate love to you. And should you be attacked by a lion or an idiot at a bar, I will protect you. "To put it simply, long hair works for me. It rocks." No, Bret. You rock.
So what do you think? Does big man Bret deserve a spot on this list? You can view the whole list

(S01E18) That's it.
Gossip Girl is done for the 2007-2008 season.
The show's season finale left me on my appetite. It didn't end with a huge bang, it didn't left me with tons of questions I wanted answered now, it didn't make me want to rush to the water cooler to chat about it with my friends. Actually, it made me wish that the series had concluded its first season with "
All About My Brother," an episode that ended with a huge bang and would have served as a better season finale.

(S01E17) "We're here to help Serena no matter what the problem is." - BlairAfter a "wow"
episode last week, expectations (at least mine) for this week were pretty high. I had loads of questions about the video and hoped that answers would be giving in "Woman on the Verge." The episode definitely met my expectations and set the scene for what could be an action and drama packed season finale next week.
What I liked most about this week's episode is the "no matter what" friendship seen between Chuck, Nate, Blair and Serena. They were able to put their problems aside and work together. As the saying says, "A friend in need is a friend indeed." The quartet definitely proved that saying this week.

(S01E15) "I made one mistake. It doesn't mean I need a human ankle monitor." - Jenny Back in early February, I told you
what I thought of Gossip Girl so far. Starting this week, I'll review
GG on a weekly basis. What an episode to start reviews with! Since I've never read the books the series is based on, I had no idea who Georgina Sparks was but I had a hunch that she was not daddy's little girl. I didn't expect her to be so twisted and evil.

I long ago got over my desire to move to New York City, but oh, when I was younger, I really wanted to move to the big city to become a writer, to live where a lot of my favorite TV shows were set, to get out of my hometown and live among the skyscrapers. As I got older I realized that there are other big cities, I live close enough to visit a lot, and New York is way too freakin' expensive.
I thought of that after reading this piece in the New York Observer. Tom Acitelli says that The CW's Gossip Girl is dangerous because it gives a false impression to people from other states that New York City is affordable.
When I first saw the headline I thought he was going to say it's dangerous because of sex and drugs and immoral behavior. But, no, it's the real estate he's talking about.
