Six creeps I'd rather date than VH1's Mystery

Pick-Up ArtistFor the past few days, I've been watching VH1's non-stop reruns of their reality show The Pickup Artist, which is just an unmarked white van and fistful of roofies away from being the creepiest show on television. I cannot bring myself to look away, so I watch each episode with my face twisted in an expression that is equal parts horror and malicious amusement. The finale will air tonight and I have already come to accept that I don't have the self-control to avoid watching, despite the fact that every time I tune in, I lose a little more faith in humanity.

Venture Aid 2006: Merry Christmas!

Venture ChristmasEvery year since 2004, The Venture Bros. have released fantastic covers of Christmas classics on the Internet to spread some holiday cheer. It has become quite the fun tradition for us fans to look forward to! The first year, The Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend gave their rendition of "Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy", and last year, The Monarch returned with his trusty henchmen, Numbers 21 and 24, for Dolly Parton's "Hard Candy Christmas". It's as though I could take the entire first season and easily shuffle this episode into the mix. I think the only things that could even possibly affect future episodes is the fact that Hank develops a crush on Molotov Cocktease and we get a bit more Brock/Molotov back story. That said, this was yet another extremely funny episode. Season Two is coming along beautifully.
