Dancing with the Stars: Week 3 results

Dancing with the Stars: Week 3 ResultsSteve Wozniak dodges yet another bullet. Not only did Steve not have to battle for his life, he was called early to the surprise of Karina. Steve Wozniak has fans. Lots of fans. I remember Kathy Griffin mentioning he had "Mac Enthusiasts" in her last comedy CD, but I guess they were actually as fanatic as she joked about. He must be getting the most votes to overcompensate a 10.

I smirked a little watching the show. I'm not sure why, but there was a glitch at one point when Samantha was interviewing Melissa. I was almost happy that I didn't have to hear her voice. Anyhoo, after seeing Steve safe, the bottom two was obvious. More information after the jump.

Dancing with the Stars: Week 2 Results

Lacey and Steve-O(S08E03) With the results of week one, it could go either way. Either a non-contender bites the dust, or someone just doesn't have the fanbase. You can't say that Gilles has no fanbase after two really strong performances.

The recap show somehow managed to squeeze 26 performances in an hour. I now realize how much time I've wasted having to sit through Samantha Harris. Along with the results, and 30 minutes of other filler, Jewel performed. I'm sure someone out there was giving her the evil glare. The results after the jump.

Dancing With the Stars: Week 1

Dancing With the Stars - Premiere(S08E01) After hearing the lineup of "celebrities" that were performing, I was definitely on the fence. Then Jewel and Nancy O'Dell dropped out, and I was excited to see how Holly Madison and Melissa Rycroft would perform with less time than everyone else.

It floors me that these two looked better than several of the men. There was the most evil of glares coming from Jewel during the whole show. After the jump, a quick rundown of all the performances.

Talk about complicated: more Denise Richards

Denise RichardsI guess it IS complicated.

After having her show supposedly canceled during the first season, Denise Richards is getting a second season of her reality TV show It's Complicated. By the way, the cancellation was according to Denise. E! did give a response to that rumor.

There are several reasons E! has decided to do this, none of which involve torture. It could be that her high-profile feud with ex-husband and TV star Charlie Sheen (which is slightly dated news particularly since the man remarried) has kept her name in the public light. It could simply be the current nature of the business in which a horrible economy is giving second chances to shows that wouldn't have been picked up otherwise. It could have just been a tactic by Richards herself to guarantee a second season.

For those who liked the show, you are blessed with Denise Richards once again sharing her life with you. For those who didn't, watch more Two and a Half Men in protest.

Not so complicated after all - Denise Richards' show axed

Denise on beachIn terms of compelling celebrity reality shows, Denise Richards thought she had a great story to tell. Her life seemed very complicated, what with her fights with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and their legal wrangling over their children, it seemed like a compelling product.

Umm...no, it wasn't.

Today, E! pulled the plug on Denise Richards It's Complicated, her attempt to keep up with the Kardashians and outdo the Hogans. The bottom line with Denise's show was that it really wasn't that complicated. It was dull.

Her family appeared as her supporting players, including her father who -- like his children -- is still mourning the loss of his wife, Denise's mom. Those moments in the show were sad, but a little went a long way.

Denise's getting in the middle of the employment issues with her assistants was hardly great TV, nor was watching Denise driving in Beverly Hills. And, yes, the ratings were declining week after week.

Super Skank Wednesday: Dina, Denise, Byata, & Rece - VIDEOS

Serch & YoYoWelcome to Super Skank Wednesday. This is where I celebrate the awesomely skanky people on the following shows: Miss Rap Supreme, I Love Money, Charm School, New York Goes to Hollywood, and The Surreal Life. Basically, I'll discuss the skankalicious shows that make VH1 the network it is today.

Notice how I've changed my introduction? I almost added Living Lohan and Denise Richards: It's Complicated but I realized that would compromise my integrity. I did, however, watch both of those shows Sunday night. I'll tell you about them and the finale of Miss Rap Supreme after the jump.

Super Skank Wednesday: A list for your consideration

Heather ChadwellWelcome to Super Skank Wednesday. This is where I celebrate the awesomely skanky people on the following shows: Flavor of Love, I Love New York (or whatever show Tiffany Pollard is making next), The Surreal Life, Charm School, and Miss Rap Supreme.

After the jump, I have a list for you. I call it, "The 10 Most Fabulous Flavorettes and Rockettes." Not those Rockettes. Not the ones who kick really high and line-up in different formations and perform at Radio City. Bret's Rockettes! Okay, it's a bad name, but what else do I call them (especially when Flav refers to his skanks as "Flavorettes")?

Charlie Sheen weds Wife #3

Mueller and SheenCharlie Sheen has married Wife #3. The 42 year old television star married real estate investor Brooke Mueller this past Friday night. The couple have been engaged since last summer.

Sheen has starred in several movies and is currently starring in the Nielsen top-10 rated show Two and a Half Men. "She's just easy, and loving, and smart, and if everybody was just as happy to see me when I walk through a door as her, my life would be perfect," he said soon after the couple got engaged.

He is currently involved in a bitter custody battle with his ex-wife and soon-to-be-reality TV star of the E! show It's Complicated, Denise Richards. They got married in 2002 and divorced in 2006. Sheen was also briefly married to model Donna Peele in 1995.

All I can say is congratulations and best of luck to Sheen and Mueller. It's difficult to make marriages work, and even more difficult with Hollywood marriages.

Armchair Executive: Would you renew Two and a Half Men?

Do you renew Two and a Half MenIt's probably a forgone conclusion that the executives at CBS will renew Two and a Half Men. The comedy, which stars Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones, is consistently in the Nielsen ratings' top 20 and is about to reach the magical syndication mark. In addition, it is one of the more popular comedies (How  I Met Your Mother being the other) on the drama-heavy network.

And yet, there may be some apprehension amongst the CBS suits about renewal because of the recent antics of star Sheen. First the actor divorced his on-again off-again wife Denise Richards, then Richards obtained a restraining order against Sheen due to, among other things, alleged verbal and physical abuse, excessive gambling, and his frequent visits to child porn sites (maybe he needs to be a guest-star on Law & Order: SVU). To top it all off, he was sued by a woman who claimed that the character he portrays on his sitcom was based on her.

Charlie Sheen sued

Two and a Half MenWow, this isn't a good week for Charlie Sheen.

First he's going through the divorce nastiness with wife Denise Richards, and now a woman is suing him, claiming that the character Sheen plays on Two and a Half Men is based on her.

Not really sure how you sue an actor for a character created by someone else, but whatever.

Charlie Sheen launches his defense

denise richards; charlie sheenCharlie Sheen and Denise Richards' ugly divorce is turning into a game of He Said, She Said. Last week, Richards got a temporary restraining order against Sheen. In her filing (posted on The Smoking Gun), Richards said Sheen threatened and pushed her, surfed the internet for child pornography and sought out prostitutes. It was a pretty scathing document, actually. That's probably why Charlie Sheen went on Entertainment Tonight to explain his side of the story. He said that Richards is making up stuff about him as part of her reaction to a failed marriage. He said she is trying "to hurt, to punish, to discredit, to completely torpedo, to undermine my perception as a responsible father... a contributing father, a guy who would give his life for his children." Sheen and Richards have two daughters, Sam, 2, and Lola, 10 months.

By the way, check out who Denise Richards is dating now. It's the soon-to-be ex-husband of her soon-to-be ex-husband's former co-star. Everybody got that? Good.
