The Upfronts: FOX {TV Squad}

May 15th 2008 2:19PM You hear this all the time and there is one fatal flaw in the logic. If everyone followed your "strategy" every new show would invariably be cancelled because nobody would be watching them in the first place.

The Upfronts: CBS {TV Squad}

May 14th 2008 8:15PM Now if only they could figure out how to shoot it in HD. The Amazing Race is a show that cries out to be seen in HD (now that I've got an HD capable TV!).

Bones: The Wannabe in the Weeds - VIDEO {TV Squad}

May 13th 2008 3:27AM When Cam (that's Camille not Cameron btw) said that "the victim must have had a head," I just took it as meaning that the head was present at the crime scene and had been hit by the mower (as opposed to the body being dumped in one place and the head in a second location).

"The artist's sculpture, which is held together with the same kind of wire that was used to kill the victim" - uh no. The wire armature that the sculpture is constructed around has noting to do with the wire that was used to kill the victim. The wire that was used to kill the victim was thin and flexible and is used to cut clay from bigger blocks as opposed to the thick and stiff wire used for armatures.

October Road hits its end {TV Squad}

May 13th 2008 2:35AM Frankly this show should have been canceled last May. It didn't do well in the ratings or with the critics, even in the post "Grey's Anatomy" timeslot that it forced "Men In Trees" out of. I'd rather have "Men In Trees" than this but of course the latter was a pariah for the network while the former somehow became this season's "What About Brian?"

It's time to intensify Operation: Renew Moonlight! {TV Squad}

May 13th 2008 1:46AM What Nikki is also reporting indicates that the show is being caught in a financial squabble between CBS and Warner Brothers.

Hey kids, it's Upfront Week again! {TV Squad}

May 12th 2008 6:11PM Because you remember all the upfronts since you were born and they've always disappointed you? Just a guess.

NBC's Zucker says ratings don't matter anymore {TV Squad}

May 12th 2008 4:24PM Will someone please tell me WHY Jeff Zucker is not only still working in TV but is the head of a network? If such things were based on performance he'd have been living in the New York subway long ago.

Smallville: Quest {TV Squad}

May 9th 2008 2:29AM Adam, you missed the obvious joke about Chloe's trip to "Montreal" (a Montreal where no one in the church speaks French? Zut alors!!): Chloe took Ollie's Arrowplane. (Believe me, if you know the history of the Green Arrow character that is a hilarious joke.)

Ryan Seacrest in talks to replace Larry King {TV Squad}

May 8th 2008 6:18PM I remember when Larry King was good. It was when he was doing his radio show and I didn't have to see his face, and he actually talked to callers.

Betty to bite the Big Apple? {TV Squad}

May 8th 2008 5:56PM It is most definitely being done for economic reasons - New York recently passed a bunch of new tax credits to benefit film and TV productions in that state, benefits to the tune of about 35%. These are the same sort of tax credits that "The Governator" refuses to even try to introduce in California. Net result: "Ugly Betty" production moves to New York, 300 members of the crew lose their jobs on that show, revenues (and taxes) from the purchase or rental of supplies, equipment, and services all exit the California economy.
