NYC congestion charge gets blocked by state {Autoblog}
Apr 8th 2008 7:03PM This plan would be much better if the amount charged was lower. It's understandable to charge people going to into the city during heavy traffic hours, but $8 is just too much. If they would cut it to $3 or $4 the plan would be accepted by many more people. Unfortunately, truck deliveries would never be shifted to late hours either, mainly because most stores aren't open that late. Only the large retailers who have night staffs to stock and clean would be able to accept deliveries. This plan doesn't really affect me because I refuse to drive into the city before 8PM, and when I do drive it's usually go clubbing or something so that's around 10PM when streets aren't as crowded (although it's still sometimes a pain). They should ban parking on some side streets though, there's no way to get through sometimes.

Mar 24th 2008 7:33PM 1) Detectives on Law and Order always find parking right in front of the place they go in NYC.
2) Doors can always be picked with locks, or broke open with a shoulder.
3) Cars never have rear view mirrors, and they can be driven with the column shifter in park.
New Amsterdam: Honor {TV Squad}
Mar 18th 2008 12:50PM I liked the episode, it was pretty decent. Plus they showed shots of Little India. Honor killings happen much more in Middle Eastern cultures than in Indian cultures. But it has nothing to do with religion it's mostly just a messed up view of what people would think in their society.
New York '08 Preview: 2009 Nissan Maxima leaked on forum {Autoblog}
Mar 18th 2008 12:28PM It's a decent design. The interior is typical Nissan: clean and sporty. The front is ugly but the rest is alright. I'm going to the NY auto show this weekend so I'll voice a better opinion when I see it in person.
TNT has 14 new shows in the works {TV Squad}
Mar 4th 2008 4:46PM I think it's a good move too, Law and Order is on most of the day so they could show reruns of their original shows during the week. I'm not really a fan of their current originals either.

Feb 29th 2008 10:09PM What you said doesn't make any sense? Your saying if someone is well paid after school and buys their own car, they don't know the value of a dollar?

Feb 29th 2008 8:54PM Alright guys, I'm 18 and I actually do have one of the cars on the list. Now if it was up to me, I would have bought a BMW M3 or a 335i, but, unfortunately, my parents don't have that kind of money. I did the best I could and I have a 04 Accord V6. This is my second car, my first was my dad's Lincoln Town Car Touring(girls love it for some reason), and I love it but it's got about 230k on it and isn't to safe to drive anymore(according to my mom) oh yea and it only gets about 10 mpg now lol. But anyway, the Jettas and Corollas are more popular with the girls because they are "omg so cute hun" ( I know about 5-6 girls with each) And 4 of my friends have Wranglers because they think they're manly. The Civics are popular with young people because you can rice them out and make them sound like blenders and they're also kind of cheap. I don't know why the Camry and the Impala are on the list and would never want that as my first car. Although, I do know a kid who bought an 07 Camry LE and put 20s on it( I laughed at it when I saw it)
Now I don't know why the Accord is on the list either, but for me personally, it had everything that I wanted and fit my needs and it also fit the budget my mom gave me($20K max, paid $18K with 27K miles). It's got a decently powerful engine(240 HP), it's got good build quality and reliability. The car is also visually appealing, especially the front end and the interior(Mine's white with tan leather). I think I bought it because it's actually a practical car I can keep for a long time and still enjoy. I was also looking at a few 02-03 BMW 530i Sport but insurance and repair costs(what I have to pay for) seemed to high just in case something went wrong.
Anyway that's my input, this post's kind of long but I figured I could explain why the cars are on the list and defend the Accord ;)
And by the way I'm not spoiled or anything, I work for my parents and they bought me the car so I could commute to Rutgers for a year.

Lincoln returning to RWD, too {Autoblog}
Jan 12th 2008 7:33PM is this a replacement for the LS or the Town Car? It's a nice car, definitely one of the best Lincoln designs yet, but I still don't think it will be able to compete with the Germans, something that many people believe the LS could do.
