Subtle Subtitles: Hell's Kitchen {TV Squad}

Jul 25th 2009 12:19AM Is that...chocolate truffle?

Why did Amercian Idol run so long last night? {TV Squad}

Apr 8th 2009 4:13PM Sorry for whoever missed Adam's performance. It sent chills up my spine - he's that good.

And no one on AI EVER does an original song. Its always somebody's cover of a tune made popular by someone else. Some contestants, like Adam, have a lot of individual personality traits that make them memorable and manage to inject some of themselves into a song they're doing, but no, no one ever claimed these were originals.

American Idol: Top 9 Perform {TV Squad}

Apr 1st 2009 1:29PM I do not get the love for Scott. He's cruising on the sympathy vote - the judges always criticize him very carefully. And the guy who thinks Scott is better than Adam??!!! LOLOL - I didn't know you were a comedian!
On what planet?

Adam and Kris were amazing. Allison is awesome. Danny is great. The rest are white noise.

American Idol's Megan and the name game {TV Squad}

Mar 30th 2009 10:04AM I think Megan has shown glimmers of what is a different, but talented sound (I Go Walkin' After Midnight).

The problem is, her sound is not Main Street Pop. There's no way it can succeed.

Having said that, she's no Sanjaya. She is a gifted performer; she just fits only into a limited niche.

What's the greatest short-lived show of all-time? {TV Squad}

Mar 24th 2009 5:45PM Buffalo Bill. Truly hilarious.

American Idol: Top 13 elimination results {TV Squad}

Mar 12th 2009 8:39PM Megan is this year's Kristy Lee Cook. Someone who will way overstay her welcome because she's blonde, pretty, and loved by the country crowd.

We can already see the top singers: Adam, Lil, Danny, Alexis, Matt and Allison (dark horse).

Michael, Kris, Scott and Anoop - meh.

Also, Kelly Clarkson kicks ass. When you hear that voice, you realize how pitiful some of the contestants are.

Now, the most important part of the Inauguration...the ratings {TV Squad}

Jan 23rd 2009 5:12PM Wow, so much rightwing WAH! going on here.

Tsk, tsk. Big babies.

School Gets Tough on Brownie Thief {ParentDish}

Jan 20th 2009 10:44AM When I was five years old, I stole some chocolate kisses from the candy store around the corner from our house in Brooklyn.

When my mother found them in my coat pocket. she marched me back to the store to return them and aologize. I might have been only five, but I can still remember how humiliating that was. I remember the shopkeeper, Mr. Rooney, giving me a kiss on the cheek and forgiving me. How I cried!

There may be a difference between five and fifteen, yes, but a strong message can still be sent to a child by making them do the right thing and making them suffering a consequence.

Bringing charges is ridiculous.

Was President Bush a good television President? -- VIDEO {TV Squad}

Jan 19th 2009 12:17PM This topic was just being discussed on one of the news channels.

They were talking about how Barack Obama possesses the ability to project his charm to the American people. Bush, whom many opined was engaging on a personal level, did not convey that to the public.

Well...that and the fact that he mangled the English language every time he opened his mouth.
