(S03E20) First of all I want to thank everyone who attended the chat tonight during the episode. The room's still open for anyone who wants to hop in and discuss what went on (if I'm there, I go by 'TVSKeith'). I'm pretty sure there's plenty to talk about.

As I was watching the show tonight, and having read so many comments on this show here at TV Squad throughout the season, I realized there are going to be two main schools of thought here. One one side we'll have those who felt the trial was the most important piece of the episode, while the other will find it to be the haunting music, those who were driven by it and surprise ending. But of course if you've got any sense about you, you'll realize they're all important pieces to the puzzle.

battlestar galactica

I wanted to try something a little different tonight during the third season finale of Battlestar Galactica. Rather than do a liveblog, I thought I'd try a live chat during the show.

I'll have tonight's review post up at 10 PM Eastern time, though at first it will only have a link to a chat room where you can discuss the episode as it airs. Later in the night, I'll update the post with my review and possibly a few highlights from the chat (if I can pay attention to both at the same time!)

Here's the thing, I haven't heard one person not convey at least some form of total shock over last week's dismissal of Chris from the show. Most of the time those sentiments are quickly followed up with "I'm never gonna watch the show again" or "Did you hear about how the phone numbers were screwed up?" or "There's no one worthy on there anymore." So that title is a little misleading, because neither Kiefer Sutherland nor Jack Bauer will be in our weekly 24 chat tonight, but I can guarantee beyond a shadow of a doubt that if they knew it existed, they'd want you to be there. So do Jack proud and come join me and all the other 24 fanatics as we chat live and keep up with the kill count (Jared won last week, boo) during the show. Well folks, tonight is the last new episode of Lost until a four episode blitz in May that's capped off with a two hour finale. Are they going to give us something worth our time, or will they waste our time? If we follow the "one on, one off" pattern of good episodes, this should be a good one. As with all of our chats, you need to have AIM or a compatible client (Trillian, GAIM, etc). No, that title isn't saying that the girls are all divas or calling anyone's sexuality into question, it's just referring to the fact that tonight our favorite eight contestants get to rock out to the legendary music of Queen. This is honestly the most excited I've been over a theme since the first time they did the country night. Tonight's performances will probably either be brilliant and inspired, or utter train wrecks, and I can't wait to watch both.
