What to Watch: TV Picks for September 6-12

    HoardersMONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
    'Hoarders' (9PM, A&E) season 3 premiere
Prepare yourself now: A&E celebrates Labor Day with an all-day (beginning at 8AM) marathon of 'Hoarders' episodes, and if you actually sit through a whole day of shows, you're probably going to feel like purging your house of everything but your bed and clothes by the end of the day. And if that doesn't inspire you to weed out your own belongings, the season premiere just might, as we meet Adella, whose decades of hoarding is so extreme that she lost a marriage and alienated her daughter. But the really sad case is that of Teri, whose husband is threatening divorce and whose two children are suffering from severe asthma because of the filth they live in. In fact, when Dr. Zasio gets a peek inside Teri's house, which she calls the worst she's ever seen, she immediately decides that she has to call Child Protective Services.

'Dirty Jobs' Marathon – What better reminder on Labor Day that maybe your own job isn't so bad, than this 18-episode marathon with Mike Rowe (9AM, Discovery)

'The Office' Marathon – A Labor Day countdown of 20 fan fave episodes includes gems like 'Diversity Day,' 'Casino Night,' 'Office Olympics' and 'Goodbye, Toby' (10AM, TBS)

'Little People, Big World' – Amy and Matt get serious about their health after he collapses during a vertigo attack (8PM, TLC) season 6 premiere

'MAD' – If Alfred E. Neuman would put it in the mag, it's likely to end up on TV in this animated sketch comedy series based on the classic print magazine (8:30M, Cartoon Network) series premiere

'Secret Life of the American Teenager' – Oh boy, George ... Anne and Amy think big daddy is up to his cheating ways again (8PM, ABC Family) season 3 summer finale

'Giuliani's 9/11' – Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, in fresh interviews, recalls his experiences on Sept. 11, including the split decisions he had to make, and how emotional he became once he finally had a chance to stop and think about the day's attacks (9PM, NGC)

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Reunion, Part 2 – It's tough to imagine how this will top last week's wild Part 1, though the network's hinting that one of the Housewives quits ... frankly, at this point, Caroline's the only one who isn't either totally nuts (Danielle, Teresa) or totally boring (Jacqueline), so let the quitting begin (9PM, Bravo)

'VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time' – The five-night (Monday-Friday, 10PM) countdown of the best musicians of all time kicks off with numbers 100-80 (10PM, VH1)

'Witness: DC' – News coverage, home videos and fire, police and rescue footage make up this special, which reconstructs the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon (10PM, NGC)

You better watch out on the floor of the Gatsby Salon in 'Jerseylicious' this year -- or you just may get clipped.

An exclusive season 2 clip of the Style Network reality series shows an altercation between Tracy and a person who appears to be Olivia. We can't exactly tell because the fists and hair are flying so ferociously.

Anyway, Olivia will definitely in the middle of a major plotline this season: the tug of war between Gatsby-owner Gayle and Alexa, the Glam Fairy who's intent on using her influence in the 'Jerseylicious' salon.

"Myself and Alexa have a little confrontation,'' Jerseylicious' Gayle Giacomo told TV Squad. "We're different, business-wise.''

AOL Television Editors Preview Fall TV: What to Watch, Skip & Try (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Sep 1st 2010 10:00AM

If TV critics were children, Fall TV would be the equivalent of back to school time -- a lot of work to do, but so much excitement. And there's always a little disappointment as you say goodbye to summer freedom, or in our case, to our happy vacation moods.

Of course the school of TV-watching is year-round, but fall is truly the time when the networks pull out all the stops (hopefully) and show us what they've got.

So sharpen your pencils, TV fans, because class is now in session: AOL TV Editor Kelly Woo and our newest addition, Lead Critic Mo Ryan, joined me to break down all the new fall network shows. Good ("it's sexy, it's fun") or bad ("I've fallen asleep three times trying to watch this pilot"), we were brutally honest because we want this to be your go-to guide for what to watch, what to skip and those shows that fall somewhere in between.

What new fall shows are you most excited for? Sound off in the comments.

Reichen LehmkuhlWho says women get to have all the fun?

In what looks to be the gay version of Bravo's popular 'Real Housewives' franchise, today Logo released the first trailer for its new reality series 'A-List: New York,' in which a bunch of Manhattan power gays (among them 'Amazing Race' winner Reichen Lehmkuhl) do push-ups in the Hamptons, have their personal stylists on speed dial and get whatever they want, whenever they want. (Floatable pool swans? Check!)

Will Reichen and the gang create as much drama as Jill and Bethenny did on this past season of 'Real Housewives of New York City'?

    Bachelor PadMONDAY, AUGUST 30
    'Bachelor Pad' (8PM, ABC)
We start the night, the spin-off series' fourth episode, with 13 contestants remaining, but by the end of the two-hour installment -- and after a fantasy date, a date in which a couple "takes flight" (literally, as the photo suggestions) and what is described as an "emotionally-bruising" competition -- we'll be down to eight contenders, with four women and four men still vying for the $250,000 prize next week. Also by the end of the episode: We'll know, officially, the cast members for the new season of 'Dancing With the Stars,' the show's 10th season, which premieres on Sept. 20. Are The Situation, The Hoff and The Palin (as in Bristol) really among this season's celeb hoofers? And what about rumored contestants Brandy, Michael Bolton, Rick Fox, Margaret Cho, Jennifer Grey, Audrina Patridge and Florence "Mama Brady" Henderson? We'll soon know ...

'The Closer' – Brenda butts heads with a military officer (awesome guest star Gary Cole) when she investigates the deaths of three soldiers who've just returned from Afghanistan (9PM, TNT)

'Huge' – Will wows everyone with a song, an unexpected couple, um, couples and it all happens in the middle of Parents Weekend (9PM, ABC Family) season 1 summer finale

'Dance Your A** Off' – And the winner -- i.e. the person who has danced the most of his or her booty off -- is announced ... will it be Adamme or LaToya? (10PM, Oxygen) season 2 finale

'Quints by Surprise' – TLC adds another family with a multiple birth to its family with the Joneses, who have a five-year-old daughter ... and a set of infant quintuplets (10PM, TLC) series premiere

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Reunion, Part I – It gets heated and crazy from the get go, as Teresa and Danielle embark on round 34 of their drama, and when host Andy Cohen tries to get in the middle and calm them down, he gets knocked down -- literally -- by Teresa (10PM, Bravo)

'Warren the Ape' – Warren ends the season by writing, producing and directing a rock opera about his life (10PM, MTV) season 1 finale

'Weeds' – Linda Hamilton guest stars as a weed supplier who may be Nancy's key to getting back into the pot biz (10PM, Showtime)

'The Big C' – Cathy hosts a dinner party for her bro and his girlfriend, while Andrea also attends and bonds with Adam. Meanwhile, Marlene finds out about Cathy's illness in a surprising way (10:30PM, Showtime)
