Megan Hauserman, one of the stars of I Love Money
Earlier this week I reported that VH1 was adding to its already awesomely skanky line-up. (I told you that was Megan Hausermann with the question mark on her face!) Throughout the week, the network has been announcing the cast of I Love Money, a competition show that will take all-stars from your favorite VH1 shows and let them compete for cold hard cash. The show premieres in July so that means this summer ... just. got. better.

ErikEveryone dumps on reality shows (though everyone watches them), but did you know that they can actually boost your career? It's true!

OK, maybe it's just true over at this Fortune article. They list 7 ways that reality shows can help you in your work life. Everything from what not to say in interviews (don't be like Rock of Love's Daisy, who said "um" too many times) to how to make watercooler friends (it involves Simon Cowell, and I'm still not 100% sure I even understand this one).

They also use Donald Trump as an example, of course.

Stylist Gretta Monahan has signed on as the show's newest fashion accomplice. Last season, model Veronica Webb helped Tim Gunn make over several style-impaired women. Now it's Monahan's turn.

Monahan owns Boston's Grettacole Spas, Salons and Boutiques. She also has a fair amount of on-camera experience, having appeared on the Rachael Ray Show, The Today Show, The View, and her own fashion segment on Boston's NBC station. Monahan recently served as a consultant on Dove's Real Beauty campaign.

Once again, fans of Flipping Out will get to watch Jeff Lewis buy properties, renovate them and sell them for six-figure profits, all while torturing his assistants and other employees.

But this season will be different. Firstly, the soft market should create even more drama and tension in Jeff's world. Secondly, Jeff is trying to turn over a new leaf and not treat his employees like, well, you know. I'm skeptical. I seem to remember Jeff nearly "flipping out" about not getting the right combination of lemonade, fruit punch, iced tea and sprite for his beverage. He also fires someone at least once an episode. In fact, this season Jeff installs a nanny cam to spy on his workers.

Welcome to week 6 of Hell's Kitchen, also known as Everybody Hates Matt. This was one episode where I didn't buy Chef Ramsay's decision at all. He had to choose between three people at the end, and the one who should have gone - clearly - didn't. The one who should have gone second? That person didn't go either. I really think this week was all about "how can we guarantee more reality show tension in the weeks to come?" and not a professional decision. And that's really disappointing to me.

Tom ColicchioBravo is capitalizing on the success of its reality shows by moving beyond the small screen. Thanks to several new business partnerships, the cable network is extending the Top Chef brand by offering a Top Chef cruise, cooking classes, and a calendar. There are also plans for a fitness DVD starring Work Out's Jackie Warner.

Former Top Chef contestants will participate in these new ventures and take part in a nationwide tour as well. The twenty-city tour begins on May 18 in New Orleans. Fans can meet the contestants, get gourmet cooking tips, and watch cooking demonstrations. The Work Out DVD is available on demand on Exercise TV (for free) and can be purchased online and in stores on May 20.

Hulk HoganThis idea could be great (like MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch come to life) or it could be the stupidest thing ever. I'm guessing it's somewhere in between.

CMT has announced that Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling will debut this fall. The show will pit two celebrities against each other, and they are trained for the match by former wrestlers. Hogan himself will act as one of the judges. Hogan is becoming quite the media king. Besides this show he hosts NBC's American Gladiators and has the VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best. By the way, this show was co-created by Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey, who played Wayne on The Wonder Years.

I can assume that when they say "celebrities" that it's a safe bet we won't see Julia Roberts or George Clooney in the ring. I would guess it would lean more towards Dustin Diamond, Tonya Harding, and whatever reality show has been from The Bachelor or Temptation Island needs a paycheck that week.

The cast of Rock the CradleLast night I went to taping of MTV's Rock the Cradle at CBS studios. We reviewed the season premiere of the show here at TV Squad so I was excited to see the show taped live and meet some of the performers.

britain's got talentIn the past few days, British viewers have uploaded at least two dozen copies of a recent performance on Britain's Got Talent. It's Suleman Mirza (aka "Signature"), who calls himself the "Michael Jackson Dancing Machine." He's an Indian performer with his own YouTube channel featuring all of his Michael Jackson-style dances. Mirza has a bit of an advantage in the show-- his bio says he's been performing Michael Jackson tribute dances for quite some time and has danced with some famous Bollywood stars.

I'm not going to ruin it for you, but let's just say that Suleman has a few tricks that drive the crowd wild. It's far better than anything that ever aired on America's Got Talent. Simon Cowell is a judge for the show and brings up a good point, though. Where can he go from this initial performance that had the audience jumping out of their seats?

How I Met Your Mother: Harris and SeymourMany people think that the term "cougar," which is loosely defined as "older woman on the prowl for younger men to date" was introduced on last season's How I Met Your Mother episode that had Jane Seymour seduce Neil Patrick Harris' Barney. But like I said in my review back then, I had heard that term before that episode aired. But we can definitely say that HIMYM popularized the term.

Now it seems like TV Land, which is becoming the network for reality shows starring people over 35, has decided to pick up a Bachelorette-esque series where a number of young men will be competing for the affections of "sexy and accomplished mature woman." The show is being produced by Mike Fleiss, who was the executive producer for the network's version of High School Reunion.

Kathy GriffinControversy continues to swirl around the Disney Channel's once-squeaky-clean Hannah Montana series. Now Kathy Griffin is telling Entertainment Weekly she was fired from the series for comments she made at last year's Creative Arts Emmys.

I dunno. Does "Suck it, Jesus! This award is my god now!" seem all that bad? That's probably one of the classier things the D-List comedian has ever said.

But Griffin didn't go quietly into the night, opting instead to fire off a few shots at the show's star, Miley Cyrus, whose racy Vanity Fair photos are making the water cooler rounds this week. "[She] has been flashing her green bra and posing topless," said Griffin. "I was basically told, 'Disney doesn't want you anywhere near the building.'"

(S04E05) "I'm not weak!" - Vanessa

I'm always intrigued when contestants get injured on reality competition shows. I can understand why some players opt to leave (I'm thinking of that guy who got burned on Survivor a couple of seasons ago and had to leave), but some players seem to take it as an excuse to leave because they want to leave anyway. A piece of advice: if you get injured on a reality show and it's not so bad that you can't stay, you should stay. Just think of the less work you'll have to do. And if you screw up in a challenge or something, they'll go easy on you because, hey, you're injured!

I thought of that after tonight's twist ending to Hell's Kitchen.
