Write a review of the Enterprise finale!

EnterpriseOK, so we've already told you about the new Top Contributors list on the right. You make a great comment in the comments section, get a star. Get enough stars and you get on the list, get a link back to your site, and you're in the running for a brand-spankin' new iPod shuffle this May! But how about this: the 2 hour series finale of Enterprise is tonight. Your one day mission: after the show, write the best review in the comments section below. The best one gets three stars added to their name! Of course, being a Star Trek fan helps, but so does creativity, style, and humor. Tell us what happened in the finale, what it means to the Star Trek world in general, and how you felt about it. About 300-600 words.

The last voyage of the starship Enterprise

EnterpriseSPOILER ALERT! Zap2it has all the info about what it was like on the set of Enterprise on the last day of filming (the series finale airs on UPN this Friday). They reveal a big part of the plot, so only click below if you want to be spoiled. A hint: it involves Ewoks. Oh, just kidding!

Enterprise producers defend last episode

Jolene BlalockSome of the cast members of Enterprise aren't too happy with the finale. Jolene Blalock said a few months ago that the finale was "appalling." Now producers Rick Berman and Brannon Braga are defending the last episode, which has...well, a lot of people probably already know who shows up in the last episode and in what context, but I won't reveal it here. Click on the link below to see what the last episode has in store for Scott Bakula and company.

Trekkies give up on Enterprise

trekunited logoThe campaign led by TrekUnited to keep Star Trek: Enterprise alive has finally come to a bitter end. After two months of frantically trying to raise enough money through fan donations to keep the series around for another precious season, the fan-run website will be refunding the $144,173 accumulated through Paypal donations and mailed-in checks. The reason for the failure? Paramount doesn't want Enterprise around anymore. Go figure.

NYTimes roundup: Pam's cleavage, Star Trek relief, and a crop of Lost & Desperate Housewives knockoffs.

pam andersen clevageAlexandra Jacobs reflects on Pam Andersen's cleavagenew TV show and icononic persona which "has acquired a lacquered, synthetic patina." Synthetic patina? Nice job Alexandra, put that in quotes and you're only eight results over a GoogleWhack!

Star Trek: Enterprise fans apparently can't admit that the new Battlestar Gallactica kicks major ass and are trying to raise, uhhh, $32M in to keep Enterpise going. What would Spock do with $32M? Easy, fund S03 of Arrested Development.

Kate Aurthur rounds up Lost and Desperate Housewives knockoffs slated for next year. Although, she clearly made a mistake with "Sold" which must be a reality TV show from its description: "Brightly colored and winking, this soap opera set in the world of high-end Los Angeles real estate features broadly drawn, back-stabbing characters."
