It's been accurate during every round of the Top 12 phase (even predicting Chris Sligh's surprise ouster), but if the AOL 'American Idol' poll is right, this week's results episode is gonna be one for the books.
Front-runner and judge favorite Lakisha Jones and Justin Timberlake knock-off Chris Richardson should dust off their Samsonite. They are the bottom-two finalists in the poll after last night's Gloria Estefan fest. The two have been swapping last-place rankings in the results line-up all day.

In his day-after exit interview, former 'American Idol' contestant Chris Sligh revealed he almost dropped out of the competition two weeks ago because of artistic differences.
"I never came into this wanting to win it. I come from an indie / alternative rock kind of background," Sligh told TV reporters during a conference call. "For me, I think winning would hurt what I was really going for."
After the judges criticized his arrangement of the Diana Ross classic "Endless Love," said Sligh: "I went to the guy from 19 [Entertainment] and said, 'If I drop out, can I still go on tour?' And they were like, 'No, you have to get voted out.' So I was like, 'Well, we'll see what happens.'"

Brandon, here's a tip: If you're going to perform first, you gotta do like Randy says and "bring it."
The former back-up singer for big names like Usher, Christina Aguilera and Anastacia isn't quite ready for the big time, according to AOL users.
The results of this week's
American Idol Top 12 poll put Brandon at the bottom of the pack with just three percent of users choosing him as their favorite.
Stephanie and Haley haven't fared much better. They're tied with four percent. Even though they've got decent vocal chops, neither girl has really connected with viewers. And Haley's meltdown after forgetting the lyrics to 'Missing You' couldn't have won her much sympathy.
Right now Sanjaya -- and his inexplicably permed hair -- is among the top six. Talk amongst yourselves about that one.

So it turns out we were half right
last week. Though Sanjaya and Antonella inexplicably stayed on for another round, we totally called
AJ and
Alaina getting
booted off the show.
As for this week ... drumroll, please ... Antonella and Haley are the two getting cut tonight, according to AOL users who took the American Idol Top 24 Ranking Poll. As one would imagine, Melinda is in the lead among the girls.
Now for the guys: Sanjaya is definitely getting the axe, according to poll results. And it's too close to call between Phil and Jared, but one of them will not be making the Top 12. Blake and Chris Sligh should breathe easy -- those two are leading the pack.
It's not too late to throw your support behind your favorite contestant. Rank you favorite guy or girl and tune in tonight for the results.

Maybe it's because he takes his style queues from Michael Jackson, but
Sanjaya Malakar -- if AOL online voters have it right -- will bid
American Idol adieu tonight. He and 22-year-old
AJ Tabaldo are the bottom two guys in the
Top 24 Ranking Poll, where users choose their favorite contestants.
As for the girls, it's a three-way tie. The doomed, according to AOL users, include professional dog walker Leslie Hunt, 24-year-old Alaina Alexander and Internet pin-up girl Antonella Barba.

Jay Leno took one on the chin (pun intended) last week, when TV comic George Lopez verbally attacked the late night host on an Orlando, Fla. radio show. The ABC star called Leno "two-faced" and "the worst interviewer" on TV.
But Brad Dickson, a former staff writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, thinks Lopez may be onto something -- at least about those interviews.
"I don't think Leno's 'interviewing skills' are particularly important to him," the 13-year Tonight Show vet told AOL Television. "The skits on the show don't seem to matter much either, nor does the music."
