(S03E11) It's Thanksgiving time on the Upper East Side, and you know what that means? Loads of drama and awkward situations. This special episode also marks the return of a few of the show's mothers, including Jessica's mother, Blair's mother, and Lily's mother CeCe.
Sadly, due to a prior engagement, I will not be able to offer you a full review of the episode in due time. Please take a few minutes to post your reactions to the episodes in the comments section below. In my review of the December 7 episode, I'll post my comments about "The Treasure of Serena Madre" and may include a few of your own comments.
So don't be shy. Let the other
TV Squad readers know what you thought of this week's episode. What did you think of all the mother drama? Was Jenny's revenge against Eric too much? How about the damaging info Chuck has on his friends? Share your reactions, theories, and comments below.
The last episode before the holiday break, "The Debarted," will air next week on December 7.

How could serena choose trip!!?! I've always wanted her and nate to be together, still hoping for next episode maybe.
I liked how blair needed pie like in the thanksgiving ep blair waldorf must pie, thought that was funny.
Not sure how I feel about the dan/vanessa thing. I just don't really like her character.
I also thought we weren't getting any more new episodes until january?

you know, its so hard to keep track of what Serena and Blair are fighting about, as it seems they are always fighting and making up in every episode. if Blair's attitude in this episode had anything to do with Serena and Tripp, then Blair should also check herself for sleeping with two best friends.
oh, and the walkout scene at the dinner table was tres dramatic. everyone knows Thanksgiving is all about the drama!

I also thought this was the last episode before break. It would've been a good one too with all of the drama and excitement.
Clearly the best thing about the episode was Dorota hiding her pregnancy from Vanja and then both of them being crazy happy in the end when he finds out. Those two are THE most adorable couple in the show.
I'm in the same boat as Lauren with the whole Dan/Vanessa thing, but for opposite reasons. I don't like Dan. But hey it does happen. Friends for a long time? I won't say I'm excited about the storyline, but I'll definitely keep an open mind.
Glad Nate told Serena her feelings. I'm sure if he told her oh a couple hours before, her choice probably would be different. Serena's the type of girls that takes actions before thinking. Once she starts to really think about Nate, she'll realize being with Trip is a mistake. Plus I think it's also less about not wanting to be with Nate (or wanting to be with Trip) and more about wanting to be as far away from her mom as possible.
Speaking off, oh Lily. I admit I was a bit blindsided by the whole thing with Serena and Eric's father. Makes you wonder though what happened during the summer and if Serena's parents both knew what SHE was up to this summer.
I said it before and I'll say it again, I love the whole Jenny/Eric rivalry. They'll make up in the long run, but it's just really nice to see them give Eric some sort of storyline. He gets like the one every season. Suicide attempt. Coming out. And now Jenny's enemy. It's a good fit for him I think.

I loved this ep for the sheer reason the 'gang' was all together in 1 room. lol Like 'old times'. Blair was great. Dorota needs a storyline, not just a few token scenes. Loved her 'secret' and her bf's happiness. Melted my heart. Serena/Nate/Tripp have to be the most boring trio. Seriously. The more I see of Tripp, the less I like him. lol Nate's confession of love was good, but Serena's reaction looked more constipated than torn. lol All the secret reveals and the secrets still contained were good plot moves on a good episode. Love Blair's mom (ever since she was Margo on As The World Turns). lol Check it out if u missed it.
