If you're like me, when you hear the name Martha Stewart you think of football. Now those two things are coming together in a new contest.Martha and NBC have teamed up for Martha's Sunday Night Football Sweepstakes, a contest where, if you win the grand prize, you get a trip to New York City, a stay in a hotel, $100 in spending money, and you get to attend a live taping of Martha Stewart or Football Night in America. Runner up prizes include Martha's new book Dinner at Home and autographed footballs.
I'm a bit confused on the prizes though. The web site above says that if you're the grand prize winner you get to see a taping of Martha Stewart, but there's also a national winner who wins a trip to see tapings of both Martha Stewart and Football Night in America. The latter seems like a bigger prize, no? But it's not the grand prize.
And the press release says you get to go see Martha Stewart or Football Night in America, not both. So I wonder if you get both or you get a choice. If you're a huge football fan, I'd still choose Martha. That has to be infinitely more entertaining than seeing Bob Costas or Keith Olbermann talk about football players in a studio.
