I've been trying to decide whether House and Cuddy will -- or should -- eventually end up together on House, M.D. In last week's episode, Cuddy invited House to Thanksgiving dinner and he showed up at the address only to find an empty house. Cuddy was enjoying Thanksgiving dinner elsewhere. It seemed like a cruel trick to play on someone, even House. So, being House, he broke into her place and had a little one on one with Lucas, in which the cranky doc revealed that he loved Cuddy. Things ended with Lucas telling Cuddy that perhaps House really had changed, and Cuddy pondering that idea as if to say, hmmm, if he's changed, maybe I DO want to be with him.
In one way, I can't imagine that the producers would ever have a happily-ever-after with these two. There's a lot of water under the bridge, a lot of hurt feelings, and neither one of them is a particularly happy person. On the other hand, why not? He seems to want to be with her, and it's clear she's pondering the idea (even if she says she's done with him). There are definitely plenty of sparks there.
Do you want House and Cuddy to end up together? Do you think they could have a happy ending?

Absolutely not and lose a really great story line. I love the actress and other members of the cast, but Hugh Laurie's cranky character really is the whole show. What's he going to be Daddy Day-care? Love extraordinaire? All he wants is some uncomplicated sex. Cuddy needs the whole deal.

I like cuddy with the private eye. I think the private eye and house should go back to being buddies. I think that house should be on the lookout for other gals. I think he really hit it off with the gal in the south pole. Cuddy is happy with a regular guy. Off with the romance angle. On to other things.

Yes! They deserve each other. At a minimum, get rid of that Lucas character.

Absolutely not.
In the beginning of the show, Cuddy was there for the sole purpose of being a foil to House. The sexual tension that rose in the relationship was due to the conflicting nature of their interests, and has very little to do with any real chemistry the characters or actors share.
The only reason this idea ever got traction is because there is a certain vocal subset of TV watchers who insist that if there are two attractive, single characters who are constantly around each other, then it must follow that they are destined for romance.
It's pretty clear that the direction the show is headed has these two characters getting together in the end. It feels awkward and forced, like they only decided to REALLY make this happen in the last year or so and are now trying to shoehorn it in. I don't believe it was the original intention for the characters, and in the real world of romance and attraction I don't believe it would ever happen.

One of them wold have to quit working at PPMC before they could have a relationship. All institutions like this one prohibit relationships within a "chain of command," and Cuddy is everyone's boss.
Of course, "House" is a fantasy anyway...

Of course House and Cuddy should be together. A dysfunctional relationship would be even more entertaining and no, they wouldn't need to be the focus of every episode. They are meant for each other and have always had more spark and sexual tension than any other couple on TV. These writers are the best anywhere and they can easily write it successfully and HL and LE can take care of everything else!

Absolutely YES!!!!!!!!
No one expects them to lead a perfect life with 2,5 kids, a house in the suburbs and a dog, but they clearly belong together (having feelings for each other for 20 years is enough proof, isn't it?).
Watching Luddy is an agony for me, but I believe that the writers will eventually make Huddy happen. Like it or not, House deserves to be happy and he can achieve it (according to him and the fans) by Cuddy's side.

I think House summarized my thoughts about him and Cuddy (and the P.I.): he might be not right for her, but he's less wrong than Lucas.
So, yes, I want them to end up together.

I mean, first I want them to go back to the wonderful sexual tension and flirting they had before Lucas xD. That'd be awesome. A s3 House and Cuddy would be great. Then I'd like them to go slowly and then end up together :D

Oh no!
House and Cuddy should never end up together.
I watch the Show because of the medicine and because of Hugh Laurie. He is such a good actor and it´s a shame, that he hasn´t achieved an “Emmy” by now.
The Show House MD used to be a great medicine crime thriller in the first 4 seasons.
Sadly, because o Huddy and 14, it has become more and more a soap opera in the seasons 5 and 6.
Besides that, it has destroyed Cuddys character. Cudddy used to be a respectable Hospital administrator. The Huddy storyline has transformed her into a sex kitten and an immature teenager. Stink bombs and a tripwire for a cripple! How cruel and mean is that?
And that HUDDY Screaming, which was omnipresent in the entire House MD fandom, has been nerve-wracking.
I want to watch “House MD” and NOT “Huddy MD”.
