Yes, I'm thankful for my family and my friends and my health and my job that is slowly but surely driving me into an early grave..blah, blah, blah. That's all the big stuff that we should be thankful for everyday. Now, let's talk about the little things that don't get mentioned around the table but should. Fan Girls
I am probably the biggest lurker in the world. I never post on fan forums and I don't have a LiveJournal, but I troll fan sites for the latest dirt on celebs and shows I follow. And you guys never let me down.
I don't know what I would do without my daily diversion of laughing over animated gifs or the latest Supernatural picspam that shows off how good Dean looks in a brown henley. You all have turned watching TV into a community activity and for that I am grateful.
So, this year, I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to the people who run the fan sites and post reviews, picspams, screen grabs fanvids etc. on their LJ's. You guys are awesome.
Glee
There's singing, there's dancing, and there's the hotness that is Mark Salling. What else do I need to say? Also, Jane Lynch.
My Wednesday TV Watching Club
That would be my sister and our friend Gail. They kind of fall into the big category of things to be thankful for, but watching Glee and Top Chef together has become our ritual this fall season. Seriously, it's so much better to have people there to laugh and make stupid jokes with.
My DVR
I don't think I watch anything but House Hunters in real time anymore. My DVR lets me skip commericals, pause, fast forward and zoom in on Corey Monteith's face. It knows me almost as well as my family.
TV Squadders
That's the other bloggers and readers on this site. Nothing makes my day like putting together a post and watching the comments fly. Blogging about TV probably isn't making the world a better place but getting to talk to readers about TV shows I love, definitely makes my life better. So, thanks for that.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Feel free to leave your own list in the comments!

Okay, I'll bite. Things I'm thankful for -
BBCA, with bonus appreciation for getting Doctor Who back from SciFi. Graham Norton, Top Gear, Torchwood, Doctor Who being broadcast nearly as soon as they show it in the UK - the list goes on.
Online Media - HULU, YouTube, etc. give me the opportunity to scrounge up bits and bobs of my childhood that aren't available on DVD yet as well as foreign commercials and other things that aren't available here.
TV Squad, which lets me join the conversation.
This coming January - the return of Chuck, Leverage and Burn Notice.
DVDs - unedited, commercial-free, don't have 1/3 of the screen taken up with adverts for something I'm never gonna watch. What's not to love?
Non-premium movie channels - IFC, TCM, Fox Movie Channel for showing uncut commercial-free classics and independent films.
It's late, so I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch more.
