Cheech and Chong and ... Ann Coulter?!?
It might sound like the world's most lopsided episode of Celebrity Deathmatch, but the world's most famous pot comedy duo squared off against the famed conservative pundit on Rivera's "Geraldo at Large" show recently to discuss the opening of the country's first cannibus club in Portland, Oregon and the legalization of marijuana. Despite the craziness of the casting, they actually have a very frank, civilized and enlightening discussion on the subject.

Before when people were saying that tvsquad was going downhill with all the political posts, I figured "its the internet, I can just skip over." This is really getting stupid now though. I mean this poster searches thinkprogress.org and moxnews.com for videos. Stays on those sites with your posts and stop trying to pollute tvsquad.

I quite enjoyed this post. I agree with the fact that we are wasting time and resources prosecuting and imprisoning people for marijuana. Make it like alcohol, which to me is way worse for motor skills, and it will be a non-issue in no time. It's all this taboo that makes it appealing...remove the taboo and the interest wanes.
Im sure initially it will be all the rage, but it will be the best move for the country to just legalize it and move on to the next issue.

Why are we still having this conversation?
Nearly three-quarters-of-a-century after it was made illegal; half-a-century after it was proven to be practically harmless - why is it still a crime to possess and smoke marijuana?
Here is a list of ten famous people who died as a result of nicotine abuse:

Here is another list. Ten famous people who died from alcoholism:
Billie Holiday
Jack Kerouac
Truman Capote
Lorenz Hart
Veronica Lake
Bix Beiderbecke
Montgomery Clift
Dylan Thomas
John Barrymore
Errol Flynn
Now I'm going to ask you to name for me one celebrity who has died from too much grass.
Go on, I'm waiting. Is it a "gateway drug" as they never tire of reminding us? Yeah, it probably is. But so is Pabst Blue Ribbon. Let's get a grip here.
