Who's the imposter in that new Folgers coffee commercial?
Here's the old ad (and here's an interview with Greg Wrangler, who played Peter). Can't find the new one online yet but I'll post it when I can.

Thanks, Folgers, for creating an expectation in the heads of mother's everywhere. Nevermind the logistical challenges and risks coming from far away and sneaking into the house.

Ok. Three things wrong with this commercial. First, are they boyfriend/girlfriend or brother/sister? (I'm waiting for a kiss in the beginning.) Second, when is a girl that young up BEFORE her parents? Three, why West Africa? How many households relate to this? Are we that PC now?

Funny, I could have sworn I saw this commercial last Christmas and it wasn't on TVLand.

It just so happens that the "Peter" in the newest coffee commercial is my nephew and we are very proud that he was chosen for this commercial.

Loved the new commerical! My son just left in October for a 3 year assignment in West Africa. His little sister is waiting anxiously for his return. You can only imagine my reaction the first time I saw the commerical. Would love to have a copy to send him but have not yet found it.

As a mom who's sons live away, I too love this commercial. It' a great commercial! Families everywhere are reminded of when their kids will make it home whether it's at Christmas or later. It's a wonderful feeling. This guy on the commercial has a great smile, too! Way to go, Folger's! Thank you!

The only thing I like about the new commercial is the hotty little sister. The brother's friends are not going to be able to keep their paws offa her. Hope she's had her Gardisil.

Almost forty years ago, I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa and came home after 2 1/2 years for a holiday. I assumed the guy in the commercial was a PCV and felt proud!

I don't have a relative in West Africa that I'm expecting for Christmas, but the first time I saw the 2009 commercial, I couldn't quit crying.

I'm glad Folgers put another "Peter Like" commercial on again. My family and out of town family members loved to watch for Peter to come home. Now the new one is the one we are viewing. Thanks to Folgers for thinking of family.

I'm sorry let me be the first tpo say the incestuous undertones in the new commercial run the gamut... It looks like they want to kiss or something...

Sandi, I'm so excited for you! That's so neat that he got chosen. Honestly, whatever anyone else wants to say is their opinion. I think "Peter" did a great job. :o) However, I also think he is absolutely adorable in it, so that may have some sway on my opinion. Hope to see him around t.v. land more.
