The "Ask TV Squad" column, published every Wednesday, answers your questions about current and past TV shows, as well as about the celebrities appearing on TV. Every week, I will pick a question (or more) sent to us and provide answers in the column. If your question is not picked for a column, it may be answered in a subsequent column or in TV Squad's APB Podcast. To submit questions to the "Ask TV Squad" column, you can post them below in comments or email them to asktvsquad@gmail.com.
This week, I answer questions about Eureka, The Prisoner and how to leave comments on TVSquad.com.
Q. Gina asks "Are there any plans to get Carter into a long term relationship on Eureka? He has changed alot since moving to Eureka and doesn't seem like the type to be okay alone any more."
A. My spoilers moles were not able to get me any Eureka spoilers about Carter's love life. However, now that Eastwick is canceled, thus freeing Jaime Ray Newman's schedule, maybe the show will find a way to get Tess to come back to Eureka so she and Carter can resume dating and maybe more.
Q. Peggy asks "What, if anything, can you tell me about AMC's The Prisoner? The promos are intriguing but very obtuse. I'm a huge fan of Mad Men and Breaking Bad and watched both shows with a similar lack of preparation. I've come to expect excellence from this network's original shows. What am I to expect with their new offering?"
A. AMC's The Prisoner begins on November 15 and will air on three consecutive nights. The miniseries, starring Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen is described by the network as a reinterpretation of the British 1960s cult hit series.
The miniseries official website will follow a man known as Six as he finds himself trapped in The Village with no memory of how he got there. The Village's inhabitants are all identified by a number instead of a name and have no memory of prior existence. Six will try to discover the truth behind The Village, the reason he is there and how he can escape.
You can learn more about the miniseries and its premises as well as get info on The Village and the cast by visit the official website. There, you will also find preview clips, bios, photos, forums, and much more!
Q. Nancy asks "I have been following you on TV Squad for quite some time now. Lately, when I want to comment, as soon as I'm finished typing something comes up saying an email will be sent to me and as soon as I click on the link in the email, my comment will be posted. Well, after all my typing and commenting, I never receive the email (this could be an AOL issue but whatever). The bottom line is why do I need to receive an email just to make a comment. It's ridiculous. So all of the comments I want to make never get posted and it's just so frustrating after I've spent all that time typing them out. Is there anything you can do to help this situation?"
A. Our comments system does require that you click on a link sent to you via email in order to activate your comment. This is a security measure. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder as they often end up in that folder depending on the email provider you use.
However, if you fill the "email" and "password" fields on the top right of the comments box under "current users", you will not be required to activate your comments and they will be automatically posted. You can also click on the "remember me" box just below the comments box so you don't have to reenter that info every time you submit a comment.
As listed in the directions just above the comment box: "When you enter your name and email address [under "new users"], you'll be sent a link to confirm your comment, and a password. To leave another comment, just use that password."

You can also set your own password. Once you leave a comment, click the link that is your name. Login with the obtuse password they gave you. once inside there are some preferences, including a custom password. This account will work across all the sister sites (Engadget, Joystiq, Autoblog...")

@cathy if it still gives you the "check email" message it means you've entered an incorrect password. i'd try resetting your password by doing what tcc3 said.
