What's Hot on SlashControl: The series premiere of V
"I wasn't sure how they could modify the storylines from the series I remembered to accurately find parallels to our war on terrorism, and the terrorist movements themselves, but they did," writes Jason. "And they did it all while staying true to the struggles and fears that's kept the original series fresh in our minds for 26 years now."
Have the Visitors arrived on Earth with a message of peace? Time will tell, but not before they fully and irretrievably embed themselves into our society.

Jane, since I politely asked Allison why she admits to Cinematical being a "sister site" but you refuse to do the same - let me ask you directly:
Why do you keep posting these promotions for a site but never admit to it being related to your AOL site?
Who profits from the lack of disclosure?

Hey Dave - Apologies! I must have missed your questions somewhere along the way, and never meant to be secretive about it.
Yes, SlashControl is absolutely under the AOL umbrella, so we're trying to promote it around as best we can. That's why the daily SlashControl posts over here at TV Squad.

Apparently there is more than meets the eye with V. This blog draws comparisons to the show and our current government. Interesting. http://thelittlebrother.wordpress.com/
