Susan Boyle is going to Dancing with the Stars

susan_boyle_singingEverybody's favorite singing newcomer, England's Susan Boyle, is going to appear on Dancing With the Stars this week. She will not be doing the samba or the quick step. Susan will be singing, promoting her upcoming CD, I Dreamed A Dream, in stores on November 24.

Luckily for Susan, Sharon Osbourne will not be on the show. Or maybe it's lucky for Sharon because after the horrible things she said about SB, Susan would probably deck her if she had the chance. Last week, while on Sirius radio, Sharon was compelled to share her opinion of Susan's sudden success.

Osbourne conceded that Susan is talented. But then Sharon talked about Boyle's looks. "She is a lovely lady. You just want to say 'God bless' and here's a Gillette razor. ...[God] gave her the talent. But he hit her with a fuc**ng ...ugly stick."

Now, I don't want to stoop to Sharon's level, but isn't there a saying about "He without sins should caste the first stones"? Has Sharon taken a good look at her children? I wouldn't call Kelly and Jack, Barbie and Ken dolls. And Sharon's admitted that she's had cosmetic surgery. Was it really necessary to attack Susan Boyle for her appearance.

Perhaps Simon Cowell said it best. When he heard about Sharon's zingers, he said of Sharon, "This is so typical of Sharon. She never knows when to keep her mouth shut.
