Last night was the season finale of Greek, the somewhat-overlooked ABC Family show with the small but rabid fan base. If you have no idea what's going on in the picture above, the ZBZs competed in Songfest. There was also a battle of the bots between Rusty and Dale, which means it sounds like this show appeals to people who like both Glee and G4.
Very good. I like that the title of the episode really touched upon a lot of the relationships that were highlighted not only in this episode but in the entire season so far...
Dale v. Rusty, KT vs. Omega Chi, Casey vs. Katherine, Cappie v. Evan, Calvin v. Grant, Gamma Psi v. ZBZ... we even got a bit of Fisher v. Ashley and Rebecca/Evan v. Cappie/Casey in the end there.
The fire was a surprise. Didn't know they were really going to go there! I'm a little saddened to see the Evan/Cappie friendship devolve after such a good re-building this season, but again good parallel to what Dale and Rusty are going through now.
At least we don't have to wait TOO long to get the next half of the season.
That was a great season finale! Less intense than the End of the World, but still really enjoyable. Didn't care too much for the ZBZ's fiasco. I really wish Ashleigh would grow a backbone instead of constantly relying on Casey. Why the heck is she still president?! Last episode I was convinced Dale was an utter douche, but this episode, after hearing what Calvin said... I kind of felt sorry for the guy. I don't think Rusty should have let him win though. It's only going to make Dale feel worse when he finds out...
My favorite storyline of this episode (and kind of this season) was the Evan/Cappie friendship. Or now lack there of. I really do feel bad for Evan with all the crap he's gone through this season. Losing his job, disrespected in his own house, and now losing his best friend again. I'm not sure what to think about the ending with him and Rebecca which we all saw coming. Guess we'll have to wait till next year to see where that goes.
I'm always disappointed with Cable shows since they have two huge breaks instead of a series of smaller ones throughout the year and then take summer off, like normal networks. I hate having to wait until late winter/ early spring for the next season.

I read on Entertainment Weekly that Greek is coming back on January 25th! So not too long of a wait!
