While we wait for the World Series to be over and
The Simpsons (and other Sunday night FOX shows) to return, here's something fun: a list of the
14 most awesome fake products from the show (
The Simpsons I mean, not the World Series).
I'm sure that there have been a gazillion funny products over the years on the show. I can't even remember more than a few of them. But this list brought back a lot of memories of certain episodes with great fake products, including: Malk, Cheezus H. Rice, and Nuts and Gm (Together At Last!).

What a dumb list. Every single thing that was mentioned in the comments of that site was funnier and more memorable than just about everything on the list. It's amazing they listed mostly throwaway items but forgot several great products that entire episodes were built around (Tomacco, Canyonaro, Mr. Sparkle)
And any list without Duff, is just...bad.

If you read the comments, it's pretty clear that he didn't forget Duff or Mr Sparkle, he just chose not to include them. And I agree with the reasoning- the commercial is great, but there's nothing inherently funny about detergent.

My comment was made well before his explanation detailing exactly why his list sucked so much.

I liked it but yeah, it was more about small references. They should've called it like the "14 Most Unnoticed Products" or something. I was also hoping to see either the Krusty Krowd Kontrol Barrier or the Lady Krusty hair removal kit. "Is it supposed to burn?" "Probably." But I was glad to see Nuts & Gum. Oh wait, they also missed Panaphonics, Magnetbox and Sorny! "I'm not going to lie to you...those are all superior products."
