I watch that channel from time to time. I love the shows from Japan called bonzuke, its a great show. However, I am sure I WON'T be watching this show and maybe not the channel anymore. This is #1 a waste of TV space and #2, how in the hell can this show help or benefit society, our children or anything else for that matter? What disturbs me most, is for those who dont know it, that channel is geared towards teens.Its like internet thbru your tv. Im very disturbed by this and I really hope this is not what we have become.Did ny of the dumb asses who came up with this lose a child in a school shooting?? I dought it. Feedom of speech and press, yes yes I get that, But Im pretty sure we are suppose to use good judgement with that right, and NOT TEACH OUR CHILDREN HOW TO GO TO SCHOOL AND KILL EACH OTHER GEEZ PEOPLE

this is programming geared towards teens...seriously?
this hsow is opbviously a spoof..unless a teen is born with needles for hands and the ability to detach their head, doesnt seem like there is much to emulate.
shows like csi, law and order and criminal minds seem much more disturbing to me

Adult Swim has been doing extremely violent cartoons for years now, and I haven't heard a complaint, but if someone writes an article about the show then arms get thrown in the air and people who probably wouldn't even bother watching anyways start crying boycott. Get a new hobby people. Don't cry to me about "what about the children!?!" What about them? If you, as their parent, object to the show, then block the channel, turn off the TV. Hand your kid a book for crying out loud. You have the control. If you are not a parent, then stop worrying about other people's children. THEY ARE NOT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! Stop being so high and mighty and worry about your own life, not the lives of the hypothetical children. If you have a teenager... well, if a cartoon will push them over the edge, then something was already bound to. If it wasn't one thing, like a cartoon, it would be another thing, like someone pushing them into a locker again. Pick and choose your battles people. Attacking a show that one, hasn't even aired yet, and two not to many people will see (considering that G4 is a small cable channel) is kind of sad and pathetic. Go find a new cause, like banning shellfish from Red Lobster because the Bible said it's an abomination or something.

Bobby, you made the perfect point. Anyone that watches even South Park should at least be used to (and enjoy) watching Kenny die. Hell, it was originally one of the things that drew me in to the show! Shows like Family guy, have violence, and pretty much the entire AS lineup is chock full of violent shows, and I love many of them. Obviously, I'm not the only one, either. The gory "Superjail" has become another of my favorites, and fits perfectly next to Robot Chicken. Now as for Slasher School, this is supposed to be some sort of game show. Not sure how that works, based on the clip. I say that as long as it is rated properly, then only adults should be able to see it. That is, as long as parents take some resopnsibility for a change and set the V-Chip or parental controls...

Bobby, I think that most people would agree that there is a question of parental responsibility involved here, and you are right that most of the people up in arms about this would never watch the show in the first place. But really, don't we need to question the social values that identify this kind of material as entertainment? I can assure you this will never air in my home, because it is of no interest to anyone there. But I cannot deny that I question the mental processes that create this kind of garbage, and the motives of the companies that choose to endorse it by commercial sponsorship. It is just kind of smarmy, and I would like to think that we as a culture could do much better. An outrage...not really. But I personally find it a little creepy and more than a little sad.

Plus, I finally just watched the clip. It was funny! There was almost no realistic violence, and the jokes were pretty entertaining. This is ten times tamer than anything you'd see on Metalacolypse or Super Prison (I think thats the name of the show...)

I thought it was kinda funny, anyway I doubt that every single teen who watches this show will suddenly go to school and try an take their head off.
People get so worked up over this stuff, I doubt in the bible it says 'thou shalt not watch slasher school'

Fan of the station! Fan of rebellious shows! Fan of cartoons such as robot chicken and family guy. Not ...NOT a fan of this cartoon. Talk about a good idea gone bad. How about running it opposite some Adult Swim content and competing for the adult audience this should be aimed at. I will NOT let my children (teenagers) anywhere near this "cartoon".
