(S02E06) "It's not your time yet, man. This is Clay's club. You either back down or get in line, before somebody gets hurt." - Opie to Jax

It was really hard to find a good quote for this week's episode. I watched the bastard four times before I found the one I did and I'm not entirely thrilled with it.

That's because this week's show was all action and little talk.

The tension between SAMCRO and the Aryans got turned up to 11 when they planted a car bomb in the shop that almost turned Chibs into a fried fish filet that would need a gallon of malt vinegar to be edible. This not only made for a perfect set-up against the club but also within it, driving an even deeper wedge between Clay, Jax and each of their alliances.

Ethan Zobelle's plan to set up the club did feel a little too perfect. He didn't plan on the club getting arrested by the sheriff's deputies since that was Jax's dumb move, but he now has more leverage over the club than ever. He has made them their puppets and got them right in their hands (or is that in them since they're puppets). And that makes me hate him even more.

Let's face it, anti-supremacist bigots make the perfect villains in just about any action-adventure movie or TV show because as Steven Spielberg put it, you can do pretty much whatever you want to them and the audience is behind you. That means the level of potential for revenge against Zobelle can only be stopped by your subconscious imagination and the easy-going nature of FX's thankless censors. Let's put it this way: there's a reason Snapper isn't one of the show's chief sponsors.

Let's talk about something less volatile and violent: Gemma, which should tell you just how volatile the situation with the rest of the club really is. It looks like she's closer to Tara then ever. You can tell by the glint in her eye when she and Tara were shooting up the porn star's car with a couple of super sized hand cannons (ahhh, prom night). They were always close or at least familiar enough to share problems and secrets, but it's somehow giving me the feeling that something could threaten their relationship if Tara does something to save the club or just Jax.

You don't cross a woman who can pack a mean punch with her elbow and keep an entire Mexican militia arsenal in two hat boxes (ahhh, prom night).
