(S01E04) "No, they're boob-iful." - Penny's response when Joanna asks if her boobs are weird. I'm reluctant to get too invested in Eastwick, because I have a feeling it might be canceled and then I'll just be ticked off. On the other hand, it's getting better, and once again, they twisted things just a little bit in the last 20 seconds of the episode.
But first, let's talk about what's going on with each of the witches:
Kat. Oy, it makes me so mad that she keeps going back to Raymond, even though he's an absolute ass. And I would NOT have fired Ivanka the tigress lawyer. Kat needs her, and I have a feeling her bird's nest plan to let the kids stay in the house and have her and Raymond take turns staying there won't work. He's too much of an ass. Why doesn't she just cast some horrible spell on him? I know ... the kids. On the flipside, it might be fun having her stay at Joanna's.
Joanna. Really? The guy who left you at the alter comes back in your life and you immediately ditch the cute guy you've been wanting for ages? What is wrong with you, Joanna? What?! And now Will says he doesn't want to have anything to do with you. I don't blame him. You're a dope, Joanna, a complete dope.
Roxie. She thinks her psychic visions are on the fritz, but we know that's not the case. Especially since we know how the episode ended. She needs to trust her instincts on this. Jamie is bad -- supernaturally bad -- news. And can't you just tell his real-life alter ego, Jack Huston comes from great acting stock? He's the great-grandson of Walter Huston, the grandson of John Huston, nephew of Angelica Huston, and son of Tony Huston. That's a lotta big acting guns, but he can handle it with his Johnny Depp looks.
Other intrigues:
The fact that Bun lost her memory, but remembers holding Jamie when he was a baby. She also revealed that the book with the weird symbol on it is hers (Jamie's mom). I'm guessing the symbol will lead to some revelation about Darryl being the devil (in addition to the mom thing).
"Teeny tiny testes ... we're talking smurf-sized." - Joanna, referring to Morgan's...
The big reveal that Penny is working (and sleeping with) Jamie. What's her game?

I like this show and I agree that it is getting better each week. Even though it's cumbersome to watch I think they are doing a good job with the ending of Kat and Raymond's marriage. In real life a divorce doesn't just happen in a snap; it takes a lot of back and forth and mixed emotions and I think that's what we're seeing with these two. Kudos to the writers for keeping it real (barring of course Kat's weather/nature controlling abilities.)

I cannot stand the endless Kat/Raymond jerkoff, and Lindsay is just plain awful. I am pretty much watching it for Roxie and Darryl at this point.

I LOVE the show, and I hope it sticks around also! I think its a nice change of pace to all the doctor shows and the CSI shows that are on t.v.. I think we could all use a little magic in our lives!
