ABC's new version of V is coming next month, and I'm sure some fans of the original wonder whatever happened to lead alien Jane Badler. She made some movies and appeared on TV shows after V, but then went to Australia and raised a family and released a CD. But she might be coming to the remake: she had lunch with producers recently and may have some sort of role on the show.

Oh Man! I was in high school when the original series aired and I soooooooo remember that scene. Totally freaked me out! It wasn’t that she ate a rat but that she ate it a live rat fur and all. Ewwww! LOL. It was at that moment that all of us fans became FANS.
The special effect seems horrible now but back then, before CGI and the like, it was awesome … and effective.
If any one from the original should make a guest appearance it’s Badler.
I’ve just been wondering if this new version will have the same effect on an audience as the original. We’re all so jaded and sophisticated with our sci fi now (whether you’re old enough to remember the original or not). Can this new version present an interesting twist and shock in the story like the original?
