I don't know if this really counts as a spoiler since NBC is showing the scene in promos, but something happens to Claire tonight that you might not expect. Here's an extended, behind the scenes look at the filming of the scene. Good plot or just attention-seeking cheese? (Not sure if this is how the scene will air tonight or a web-only remix.)
I still don't trust Claire's new friend. It's almost as if she killed Claire's roommate so she could get to this moment. Or maybe I just want there to be more to this story than "Claire's roommate killed herself suddenly."

can't stand this plotline: boring, cliche, annoying characters...seems pretty obvious to me that new girl will have a power and be an evil stalker. like single white female but in college and with superpowers. zzz

If you watched to the end of the show, you saw that the Carnival guy was the one who had Claire's old roommate killed. I do believe it's just circumstance that the stalker girl looks suspicious because that's how the Carnival guy is making it look. WHO IS THE CARNIVAL GUY! There is nothing in the past seasons that led up this the entry of this guy . . . yet another sociopath.
