I love Craig, but his audience just ruins his monologues for me. They're always so over the top with the laughs it make the situation seem completely forced or planted. There always winds up being one person that stands out, and makes it distracting.

Craig is my favorite late night host. I really dislike the others...but I rarely am able to stay up late enough to watch him.

I think he handled it brilliantly. Not everyone would have enough nerve to acknowledge the "my job vs. my boss" situation, let alone deal with it like he did.
Craig's also known for empathizing with celebrities in trouble due to his own skeleton-filled life, so I'm not surprised he took the "I've got no room" angle.
