If all of the people who watched the first two episodes of The Beautiful Life signed this petition...well, the show would still be canceled (if you had TBL in the office "which show will get canceled first" pool, congrats!).Cancellations + the web = instant petitions. A TV show used to just die and then that would be it. Oh, sometimes something happens where a show gets a second chance (exec taking a chance, summer reruns getting good ratings, the show doing well on DVD, buzz, etc), but it's a long shot. And now, whenever a show is canceled the web gives us the opportunity to create and/or sign a petition to get the show renewed.
Even in the world of surprise renewals (Jericho) though, getting another season (or even more episodes - there are four unaired) of this show is an impossible dream for fans.
The CW doesn't even have a link to the show anymore.

Can a show that's only aired 2 episodes really attract enough loyal viewers to stage a resurrection campaign? It's dead, Jim.

Ugh.. I was pretty excited about this show and it was flat awful. I'll happily send it to its grave.

Is it even worth it to make a complete series DVD? I think it's safe to say this show won't be coming back for a summer burn off, or burn off at any time.

How about a petition to keep it off the air?

2 episodes isn't even giving it a chance. Why did they even put it on the air at all?
