I thought last night was tough, with The Emmys joining new episodes of Mad Men, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and the series premiere of Bored To Death, but it was nothing compared to tonight. We have the season premieres of How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, CSI: Miami, Dancing with the Stars, Castle, Heroes, and House, along with new episodes of Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, and The Jay Leno Show and the series premiere of Accidentally on Purpose. Whew. I think all of our DVRs are going to explode around 8:59 PM.
What are you watching? Are you going to give Heroes another chance? Are you anxiously awaiting Jenna Elfman's new show? Does Nathan Fillion make you all tingly?

8-10pm Watch Dancing With The Stars live.
10-11pm Watch Castle live.
I'll be on ABC all of tonight. Wish Food Network put their shows on iTunes (because tonight's ep of Unwrapped looks good, except that DWTS is on at that point).

I know! Monday nights are the hardest for me, because there are at least 3 channels that I want to watch, while my DVR/digital cable only lets 2 on at the same time. I've learned the hard way that none of my CBS shows can be watched online, so I always have to record them or watch them live. House is always a must, and DWTS kicks in during commercial breaks.
I'm totally giving Heroes another shot this season (since I'm the eternal optimist)...but it'll have to be by watching it online.

I'm only giving Castle and Big Bang Theory my efforts for Monday TV. The rest is devoted to Monday Night Football!
I'm passing on Elfman's new show... seems like it'll wear thin after a couple of weeks. I already saw a lot of those jokes on Friends.

I'm recording both House & Heroes. MNF I don't really have much interest in, and I didn't get into Castle. It was an OK show, but too much like Bones just not as scientific.
I'm actually more concerned with Thursday night. CSI, Fringe & Community (which I greatly enjoyed the premier and love Joel McHale on The Soup). I just don't know what to do as those are all in the 9 PM timeslot.

House tonight. So lost on HIMYM (ex-husband watched football and hated the show so I haven't seen it for two seasons). Friday nights are the worst for me don't have a DVR so I am really screwed. Friday - Dollhouse, Numbers, Eureka, Stargate Universe, Sanctuary.

Tonight... HIMYM live, and then switching over to House (on the DVR) and then Big Bang, and Castle. If I don't get to Castle tonight, I'll catch up on Saturday, along with Two and a Half Men.

Um, if there's a night that has like multiple shows, wouldn't that make that night impossible as well? Last Thursday was a beast for me. From 8-10, there were 3 channels I needed to watch. I didn't see an article then...
So should we expect to see this article every day for the next 2-3 weeks, with only show names changed?

I watched the entire Emmys telecast live, so I'll be catching up on Mad Men early, then HIMYM. DVRing House, which we'll probably watch tomorrow, as the wife goes to bed by around 9:30. At that point I'll probably go in the other room and tune the secondary TV to Monday Night Football, but then I'll turn my back to sit at the computer in the same room and go online, so MNF will be just background noise.
The only other thing I watch on Mondays at the moment is Top Gear (BBC America), which will be recorded at 11 PM along with The Daily Show.

1. Record HIMYM and Heroes.
2. Cross fingers than check to see if USA is still repeating new episodes House 11 days after the original airings.
3. Tell wife if she wants to watch "celebrities" dance she can use the crappy TV in the bedroom.

What I plan to watch tonight:
HIMYM, Heroes, Gossip Girl, Big Bang Theory, and Castle.
Usually it's not too bad except Heroes is doing a 2-hour premiere. GAH!

Thursday is going to be even more ridiculous, in my opinion.
There is Flash Forward, Bones, The Mentalist, Fringe, Grey's Anatomy, The Office, Community, and It's Always Sunny.
I left out Vampire Diaries and Supernatural, since I won't be watching either, most likely.

I have to agree about Thursday nights. This is the only night I don't have enough tuners to record everything.
7-8pm CT
SNL/Parks and Recreation
Flash Forward
Survivor
Something has to go... It may be SNL/Parks and Recreations because of the replayability of Hulu.

Well I'm going to be watching the Monday Night Football game live, then DVRing Heroes, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, and The Jay Leno Show. So not too much conflicts since I have two DVR's.

DVRing House and Heroes. Taping on tv in the office - HIMYM and Big Bang Theory. Not sure what I'll watch live - might watch something on my dvr before starting House a little late so I can run through commercials. Monday and Thursday nights are the most jam packed - fortunately, I watch Survior, CSI, Greys and Private Practice over at a friend's so I can DVR The Office, Fringe, the Mentalist and Project Runway so I can watch later. I dropped DWTS after last year when I had picked up 24. I've found I don't really miss it - it frees up two nights.
