What You Missed Last Night: Andy Richter controls the universe
The three celebrities who played the first game of this season's tournament were Wolf Blitzer, Dana Delany, and Andy Richer...and Richter won! Actually, it's not even fair to say he "won," he crushed Blizter and Delany. The game was over way before they even got to the Final Jeopardy round. Blitzer didn't even make it to that round (I cringed when he added an "S" to Julia Child's last name because I knew the money would be taken away), but they let him play anyway.

What can be expected from anyone working for CNN? They report on the wrong issues or don't report at all!!

Yes, Andy was great. They dumb down the show a bit for Celebrity Tourneys, but he obviously knows his stuff. And it totally shows up Blitzer to be the well-dressed dummy I always thought he was. He couldn't even get Julia Child's name right. No wonder television news is in the toilet these days.

Hopefully this will clue people into the genius that is Andy Richter!
Why drek like the dozens of "reality" shows continue while genius like Andy Barker P.I. gets canceled is a crime on the television watching public.

Wolf is too busy reporting on news! He's still my HERO!! I'm not surprised he did so poorly. I'm sure he doesn't watch situation comedy and any other TV programs since he's too busy reading books, news journals, etc., while the rest of us are busy losing ourselves in mindless TV!

Andy Richter's final score of $68,000 is the second highest one-day total for a regular game in J! history. ONly Ken Jennings' $75K win from July 2004(the 20th season finale) ranks higher. There was even a Daily Double not revealed in the Double Jeopardy! round. Finding that may have caused Andy to topple Ken Jennings' one-day record.

Bill Gates never made it through college either but some of these stupidest people in this counrty are college educated and most of the smartest just went to high school before becoming millionaires.

OH, sure, and let's see how O'Reilly or one of those rightwing nuts would do. They're terrified of going on a show like this. Oklahoma, one of the most rightwing states, recently did some tests and found that only 20 percent of high school students knew who the first U.S. President was. That's the education level of the rightwing nuts.

LOVED IT!!
I've said for years that blitzer wouldn't know how to put speak two words together if somebody else hadn't written it for him. Last night validated that. And the dummy didn't even conisder it an insult when he was given a $1,000 hand out so he could play final Jeopardy! Probably thought it was another "entitlement."

WHAT??? Was your comment supposed to make sense? of did your spelling and grammar mistakes just moot your point? (And don't bother pulling the race card on me and telling me to go back to my own country: I'm white and 4th generation Irish American; only my name is Indian. Just thought I'd throw that in there since you claim to be from the 'right'.)

Stones and glass houses, Bhakti, stones and glass houses. You see if spelling and grammar errors are making points moot, yours would fall into that category. Stones and glass houses. Just something to think about. Perfection is rough, so I will cut you some slack. You see Bhakti, I don't live in a glass house, I just keep an eye on the ones who do. Humility is a good thing, so you may want to look into it.
