I'm kinda amazed that FOX's Dollhouse is coming back for another season. This isn't a commentary on how good or bad the show was, but didn't it just have the smell of a show that wasn't going to come back for a second go around? The ratings dropped, critics and fans were mixed on the quality, and they even released a first season DVD set with an extra episode. It just seemed like it would be one of those culty sci-fi shows that FOX cancels early. But the second season premieres on September 25.Ray Wise, who played the Devil on The CW's short-lived but loved-by-many Reaper, is joining the cast of the FOX sci-fi drama.
Michael Ausiello describes the character that Wise will play (Howard) as "an intelligent higher-up in the Dollhouse who has huge presence and humor." That sounds a lot like the character he played on Reaper (or a lot the characters Wise plays, and that's a good thing).

Doll house is a good show but FOX made a huge mistake by canceling Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I don't think that Doll House will see a third season

Fox can still screw with "DollHouse" similiar to the way ABC screwed with "Pushing Daisies". Give it a handful of episodes which they air inconsistantly and on different days and times, etc. I certainly hope that more eyes watch this show, if nothing else we can then all say that after all the crying and screaming over the "Firefly" cancellation, at least Fox was much more supportive towards "DollHouse", so in the end its up to all those BTVS/Angel/Firefly/Dr. Horrible/Reaper/Battlestar Galactica fans to actually WATCH "DollHouse" and just enjoy it and stop crying over what it isn't and just enjoy it for what it is, another Joss Whedon creation.
