(S11E30) Natalie and Kevin made it scheming all the way into the final three on Big Brother 11. But, did they make it to the final two? Did one of them win the half-million dollars? Or did Jordan blow them both out of the water? It was an unlikely final three and the first two-hour live season finale. Despite the rather lame "high school cliques" theme to the season, it definitely had its moments of BB history.
But first ... you know me. I need to whine and fuss just a bit. I thought they'd never get to the last part of the head of household comp! I felt like a child on a family road trip -- "Are we there yet? Are we almost there?" We had 45 minutes of filler on a live show before we got into the good stuff. Recap, last minute Natalie and Kevin both vying for Jordan's favor, and so on.
The only interesting bit before they played out the HOH was Michele entering the jury house. Oh man, those jurors are really on the anti-Jordan wave. It's almost like they've been reading Internet message boards or something. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.
Then it happened. The final part of the head of household was your standard "finish this statement made by a juror" with two answer choices. Oh, the tension! Kevin, one point. Jordan, one point. Back and forth to a tie at the end of the questions. It's amazing! Jordan SO won the tiebreaker, and she's the final HOH! Who woulda thunk it?
She evicted Kevin. To be honest, I've disliked Natalie so much this season that it irks me that she will win a minimum of $50,000. I'd rather Kevin have that money. But it was a good strategical move for Jordan. While she has no clue the jury has turned so much on Natalie, Kevin played a much better strategical game all season than she has. He just might have won it all.
The jury questioning didn't provide me with any surprises, except that Natalie's age lie wasn't revealed. Why not? At least Ronnie the Rat exposed Nat the Rat and called her out on it. Alas, it was after the votes were already locked in. But Jordan didn't need his help anyway.
The voting went down like this:
- America's Vote - Jordan
- Jessie - Jordan
- Lydia - Jordan
- Russell - Natalie
- Jeff - Jordan
- Michele - Jordan
- Kevin - Natalie
Jeff won America's Favorite Houseguest and collected the $25,000. All in all, I found it a satisfying conclusion to the season even though I had to suffer Natalie winning money. Jordan and Natalie were both shocked at Jessie's vote, me not so much. I think his vote had a lot to do with Lydia and what she's told him about Natalie.
As for the two-hour finale, I think they need to work on it a bit. It should have been fun, interesting, and exciting. They had way too much filler and recapping going on. Your thoughts?

First I just want to thank you, Jackie, for all of your fabulous updates. I don't know how you sit through most of that but I'm glad you do. Thanks!
I wonder if Michelle's question to Natalie had something to do with the way some people voted. Michelle specifically mentioned "since you are 18 and supposedly (or Natspeak suposably) engaged...." and Nat didn't correct the age and admit to being 24. I wonder if some people said ahead of time that if she admitted to her real age then and there she would get their votes and if she didn't come clean then Jordan would. Ah, who knows? I'm probably just reaching.......

Jackie, I think you meant Jordan and Natalie were both shocked at Jessie's vote.
Except for Nat winning the 2nd place money, I so loved this ending. Karma caught up to Natalie in the end. Loved that Jeff won the 25 thou, too.
I agree that I expected more from production for that finale. Waaaay too many recaps. Hoped we'd see more than we did of the jurors also. And what's up with only four of the evicted hg's coming back? They made it sound like it would be a full reunion.
Still don't like Ronnie but at least he manned up a bit and apologized to Michele. And he ratted out Natalie!
All in all, a great finale. So happy for Jordan.
Thanks for keeping us up-to-date all season, Jackie.

Even though Jordan may not have been the strongest player in the house, she came through when it counted. I was happy to see her win, I so disliked Natalie from the beginning, but Jordan was smart to take her to the final 2.
You know it was just a lucky guess for her on that tiebreaker question, but she was such a likable person on the show of so many ugly personalities. No surprise that Jeff won as America's favorite, and rightly so. Even in the Showtime feeds he was a likable guy, and none of the other houseguests really gave that same impression.
All in all not a bad season, some good fights, some fun people, and a winner who can use the money from the sounds of it!
But what was up with that dress of Julie's!!

The meek always eventually win. Jordan is a very sweet and unassuming young woman. She is pretty smart in many ways. I hope she and Jeff make a go of a relationship. The sparks between them are very obvious.

all in all great season! jeff and jordan made it good
just like keesha and dan did last season
so happy for Jordan, and jeff
amongst all the ugliness in the house these two are what america is all about, good, real, likable people!
Jordan made all the best moves at the right time and did great YOU GO GIRL!!!!! And hated that Gnat got the money but giving that up gave Jordan the win woo hoo. And I agree the age thing (she lied till the end not revealing her age) and that made up jurors minds.
Good Season (Big Brother After Dark needs some work though)

Totally agree with most of the comments on here. I watched the entire season of big brother and including after dark...I just don't understand the dislike for natalie. Sure she was a bit annoying and ego driven but who doesn't have a friend or associate like that. She and Jordan both used men to advance themselves in the game and Natalie was a little more sneaky than Jordan. She had more game play than Jordan did. If anything Jordan was lucky...purely lucky to win. I think Jordan is a nice and sweet girl and won America over by being clueless (wtf) but if I was voting I would have given my vote to Natalie. I don't think a game like BB should be voted on based on personal but strategic. Natalie used other ppl to do her work but at least she had a game. Jordan lucked out that one of the guys in the house liked her and pull her through not strategy just luck. On a personal note neither of the three should have made it to the final three. Jeff should not have recieved the 25,000, America always vote based on Beauty. We (because I voted for him) had already given him his chance with the coup d'eta. Michelle should have won...she was by far the best player. To get that far with no alliances!?! and everyone hating you..(she was weird though) But nevertheless, I am happy for Jordan! She will probably do the most good with the money.

have to agree with Evel Dick the final 3 were lousy floaters like him I wanted a Jeff and Michele final 2 some big players who made bold moves
also was hoping Jeff & Jordan's fans would have split the vote and Michele would have snuck in to win the $25,000 oh well I can see Michele being a contender for all*stars II
NOW time to move on to Survivor 19 this week and the Amazing Race 15 next week until Big Brother 12 rolls around next Summer

Go Jordo! She was right, in the end, she won this game for herself. Jeff helped get her to the final four (a case could be made that she helped HIM, too) , and she got the rest of the way on her own, winning two mandatory HOH competitons, first against Natalie, then against Kevin in a tie-breaker, which requires one to think on their feet, and she stayed more calm and collected than Kevin, who was freaking out, he was so nervous, and she missed the correct answer by ONE, and was also below the total - how awesome is Jordan for pulling that off? I thought she was going to win HOH when Natalie did, and thought she might be a goner then, but she hung on an won. For once, a truly good person won. I think the only lie I saw was tonight, when she lied to Kevin, but I also think that got her Jesse, Lydia, and Michelle's votes. She would have won, even without America's Vote. She kicked Natalie's lying ("I have played a truthful game without lying") bu**.
Also, the person who would put the money to good use won, instead of someone like Mike Boogie, who bought a Bentley. After watching him for a whole season, and listening to him last week, I think that Mike is trying to compensate for something, if you get my drift (sort of like Jesse, the posterboy of 'roids. Nobody normal acts like he does, inside the house, in the jury house, or out in public. He is a freakish, narcissistic, nobody who desperately wants to be a somebody. Jordan actually likes herself, no matter what physical shape she is in. She is a beautiful girl on the outside, and even more importantly on the inside. If Jeff and Jordan were to become a couple, I think it would be a huge media event. I know everyone will want to know all about the trip to Hawaii. BTW, Jeff - if you are reading this - I would turn the attitude down just a notch, Jordan does not need you to get to Hawaii, and, if I were you, I would LOVE to go to Hawaii with Jordan, though I would not even be on the "short list".
OK, I've had my say. I have to say the finale was the best two hours of this season, which is among the two or three worst BB season, and I hope the producers have a stern talk with the next set of guests next year - zero tolerance of the cr@p that happened this year. That is one big reason that I am glad that Natalie did not win. She really disrespected the rules a LOT, and really thought she was superior to others, and, in reality, as she will come to find out, America HATED Natalie, including me, and I feel sorry for her "fiance".

Techinically, Natalie did still win...just not the big prize. She still got $50,000...heck, i would be happy w/ that myself. I wouldve love if she got nothing. Love the look on Jordan face when they showed Jesse voted for her. Haha! I also agree w/ the other poster about Michelle's question. She mentioned her age in there to see if she would admit to it...

I’m disgusted at how mean people are being regarding Natalie. She played this game the way it should’ve been played. She was WAY better than Jordan. I mean, Boogie, Will, Jun, Allison, Evil Dyck behaved worse than she did; yet she’s being portrayed of being all these nasty things that she’s so obviously not. I don’t even know her but I sympathize with her. Did anyone actually watch this show? How can anyone be so upset with her in a game that’s about deceiving, betraying, manipulating and lying? She stayed TRUE to her alliance and I cannot believe that people are blinded by this. How come when a woman plays some-what evil as a guy she’s then the worse person ever? These double standards have to stop!
I watched the live feeds/showtime after dark and if you do not think that producers arranged for Jordan to win then prepare to be shocked. During the last showtime airings, I saw Jordan talking about the before last HOH comp. SHE KNEW EXACTLY what it would be. Then they called “do not talk about your diary room sessions with other houseguests”. And why do you think they had all 3 stay in the house until finale night, instead of the usual 2? So if “Kevin” lost, he wouldn’t convince people to vote for the true winner of this game: NATALIE. Or if Natalie lost, she wouldn’t convince people to vote KEVIN. They knew that if either Nat or Kev won last HOH that they’d probably bring Jordan; so they set it up this way!
I’m flabbergasted that no one has caught this. I like JORDAN as a person, but not for the BB game. She did absolute nothing to win 500,000. HOH was given, POV was a fluke and the last 2 HOH games were rigged for her! I do not respect the way this was arranged this year. I believe this time around the winner of this game was set up by producers. Kevin should’ve won this completely but if not then Nat. Nat may have not won every comp but she was a strategic player.
I think Jesse will feel SUPER dumb after he watches the show. I do think he was upset because Nat really didn’t want him and to anger him even more, finding out she was engaged didn’t help matters much either. He’s mad because he feels Nat rode coattails but he did the same. Remember RONNIE, RUSSELL, CHIMA? Hypocrite! I do not understand Jesse’s anger with Nat. It’s obvious he hooked up with Lydia and Nat never betrayed him. What a LOSER!
I hated this season! I feel that people played and voted on personal terms and this is not how BB should be played. It’s a game for 500,000, for goodness sake! I feel that if you don’t make strategic plays which included lying, manipulating, betraying and deceiving then you do not deserve to be in this house. I mean as a viewer, isn’t that what helps ratings and makes this show interesting to watch?
I’m sorry but if I wanted to watch a romantic connection between Jeff and Jordan then I would’ve watched THE BACHELOR! Should not be what BB should be about.

Natalie and Jordan played the same game really. The difference was that Jordan wasn't a bitch, and people who opposed her actually liked her. That made the difference IMO.
