One of the most anticipated iPhone apps since the "iFart" has finally found its way to the App Store.
The official Dexter video game from Marc Ecko Entertainment and Icarus Studios finally made it to Apple's App Store yesterday after more than a year in anxious development. The game is also set to be released on the PC, as well, but a release date hasn't been officially set yet.
Based on the trailers and images I've seen so far, the game takes place in the show's first season as Dexter tracks down the infamous "Ice Truck Killer." The game puts you in control of America's most huggable serial killer, as you help him follow the clues, analyze blood spatter patterns, and fulfill the need of his "Dark Passenger" by hacking and slashing your way through more flimsy meat than a Subway sandwich artist.
I'll have a full review of the game coming up soon (it's syncing to my iPhone as I type this). In the meantime, enjoy the latest full trailer of the game to feed the cries of your own "Dark Passenger." Something tells me I'm going to need to shower for a week to get the stench of bloodlust off of me when I'm done playing it.
