Another commercial I can't stand: the Fiber One hippie girl

Fiber OneI can't stand the new Fiber One commercial.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like the series of ads that feature the store manager and his assistant (played by Kate & Allie's Fred Koehler) singing the praises of every type of Fiber One product on the market (cereal, yogurt, snack bars, etc). I think most of them are pretty clever and it's great to see a series of ads on TV featuring the same cast. But the new ad is irritating as hell.

You've seen it (hopefully, since I can't find it online to embed here - here are some others): the store manager (Ajay Mehta) goes up to the hippie-ish chick who has opened a box of Fiber One Cereal and seems to read her mind. He knows everything she is about to say before she can say it, but he assures her that he's not psychic. At the end she tells him that she's going to buy the box of cereal, "but you already knew that."

Yeah lady, of course he knew that. because you've opened the damn box and you're eating the cereal. It doesn't matter what brand of cereal it is, it doesn't matter if it has fiber and doesn't taste like it has fiber, and it doesn't matter if I'm psychic or not or can move things with my mind like Sylar on Heroes. You've opened the box of cereal so you have to pay for it. I don't even care if you tasted it and you think it tastes like monkey paws, you still have to pay for it.

I thought that when I got older, little things like this wouldn't bother me so much, but just the opposite is true.
