Don't worry. Nick Cannon won't necessarily be packing his bags any time soon, but former host Jerry Springer is coming back to America's Got Talent. He's slated to host that Planet Hollywood live show in Las Vegas Cannon has been pimping every week.Springer originally left America's Got Talent to appear on Broadway in Chicago, but that gig has since wrapped. I'm not sure what that means for next season of the talent show. After a shaky start, I think Nick Cannon has emerged as a capable and fun host for the wackiness of AGT. He's got a natural sense of humor about everything, which is essential when talking to "The Hoff."
Plus, he brings a hip and youthful swagger to the show. As much as I love Regis Philbin and Jerry Springer, neither one of them are spring chickens. Cannon is hip to things that they can barely comprehend, which makes him more relatable to a younger audience. Plus, he brings Mariah Carey star power whenever they want it. And she grabs his butt, if you're into that sort of thing.

Springer must be doing a lot of traveling. His talk show (along with Maury and Deal or No Deal) recently moved from Chicago to Connecticut. And now, it's off to Vegas.
Where is his permanent residence?

My guess would be that his permanent address is somewhere in the "twilight zone" that Rod Sterling used to talk about. I thought he was going to move to Massachusetts so that he could take Kennedy's seat in the Senate.

As much as I agree I think Jerry is more for this type of show. Screw this so called "reporter's" choice for a young person -- it's apparent that he has no idea about a TOTAL PERSONA, vs. some flash in the pan (if it wasn't for whatshername he wouldn't even be on the show). Bring back Jerry -- Regis has too much on his plate and it's wearing him thin -- watch his demeanor and you'll see what I mean.

I am not fond of Nick Cannon, he seems to fake and I don't find him funny at all. I want Jerry Springer back he seemed to fit better with the show. I disliked Regis as host too, he was to formal with the contestants..

I'm looking forward to when Sarah Palin gets in on the act at Vegas. She is so funny. With her gift for packing the house I think she would make a great entertainer in that venue. I hope she considers this kind of career change and gets out of Alaska.
