True Blood pulled in record ratings for last week's insane episode, "New World in My View." The ep ended with most of Bon Temps still zombified by Maryann, Sam naked and on the run, and Bill about to meet with the Vampire Queen of Louisiana, played by Evan Rachel Wood. Over at the Stackhouse place, Sookie, Lettie May and Lafayette were left caring for a bruised Tara, who's determined to rescue her man, Eggs. That's where the following preview clip for Sunday's ep, "Frenzy" picks up. Click through to watch.
"Frenzy," the final ep to air before the season finale, is destined to be one of those frustrating episodes that are all set-up and no resolution. Still, its bound to be a tense hour as the Vampire Queen toys with Bill, Sam looks for help wherever he can find it, and Sookie tries to keep Tara safe from Maryann's claws. Hopefully, we'll at least get a resolution to the Jessica-Hoyt-Maxine scene from the last week.
Will Bill get back in time to stop Tara from running out? Will Sam really turn to Eric for help? And do you think Jessica really drained Maxine? "Frenzy" airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.

Why is it only going to be a half-hour long?
I know last weeks episode clocked in at only 45 minutes, but doesn't the show usually last an hour?

Thanks for the catch, Arclight! An hour is correct.

Whew, bad enough we have to wait two weeks for the finale, it would suck more if the penultimate episode was only a half hour
