Gearing up for Grey's Anatomy season six

A funeral at Grey's perhaps? With a month to go, the news about T.R. Knight leaving Grey's Anatomy finally comes to the forefront with one of the first previews for the sixth season. The preview spends the first 15 seconds at the end of season five, so fans only get 15 juicy seconds of new clips.

The clip is nothing out of the ordinary for Grey's viewers: flashes of white, screaming people's names, faces of panic and running around. The big fans can dissect each scene and realize that there isn't much to analyze.

Here's hoping that the preview actually takes place in the first ten minutes of the show. If I get a lot of unnecessary George flashback for the first hour, I will have to find something to gag myself with.

We know that Izzie makes it at least further than George, as seen by the photo of her at a funeral (assuming that it is actually George's). The most interesting scene in the preview is of Callie, seeing how she reacts to something, most likely being events revolving around George. Everyone knows what's going to happen to George, but her connection with her ex-husband remains stronger than I remembered.

The preview really means nothing to me except that summer is almost over and the sub-par summer shows like Big Brother and America's Got Talent will go away until next summer, or another strike forces reality shows out again.

I'm gearing up for the two-hour premiere, but with the news about how Ellen Pompeo is pregnant during the taping season six and Katherine Heigl bashed Grey's Anatomy during interviews, I'm hesitant to put any emotional ties to the show. Will the show come back stronger than ever? Leave comments below about your excitement, or what should happen this season.
