Having a British company take over Sterling Cooper is a rather brilliant move. It gives the show a new focus, a new tension in the office (and out of the office too). In this clip from next week's Mad Men episode "Love Among The Ruins," Don and Betty go out to dinner with Lane and his wife.
Such a well-written two minutes. It's like you know everything about these four from this one scene.
I would have bet money that Lane was gay, oh well he might still be. This show is amazing in its complexity and layering. The writing is sublime and the acting lives up to that writing.
Yes! Thank you, that is Embeth Davidtz. I'd seen her on In Treatment but couldn't place her. I don't think she's credited on IMDB yet because the ep hasn't aired or something. But that is definitely her.

Does anyone know the name of the British actress, or what she's been in before? She looks extremely familiar!

She looks like Embeth Davidtz, who played Natasha in Bridget Jones's Diary, but she's not credited on IMDB so maybe it's her twin?
