So now we know why Billy Mays was so hyped in his commercials -- he used cocaine. The autopsy results for the TV pitchman confirm that he died of heart disease, but there were also traces of cocaine in Billy Mays' system from a few days prior to his demise. There was a family history of heart disease, and cocaine can elevate blood pressure and contribute to coronary blockages. The coroner, Dr. Chrostowski, reported that "cocaine use caused or contributed to the development of Mays' heart disease and thereby contributed to his death."
Not surprisingly, the Mays family is defending Billy's memory. Deborah Mays said, "We believe the release contains speculative conclusions that are frankly unnecessary and tend to obscure the conclusion that Billy suffered from chronic, untreated hypertension."
Still, it's kind of sad that Mays had obviously been doing something. That coke in his system wasn't Oxi-clean.

Yay! Hopefully this will end the tributes to a barker. Good grief people in this culture are celebrity obsessed.

there are tributes??? totally missed those.
I'm not surprised the man used. He was always so hyper and loud and seemed like he could rattle on at the top of his lungs forever.
But , I feel bad for his family and friends who lost someone they loved.

"Billy Mays here with another fantastic product! Are you so tweaked on coke that you're doing grout work on the batroom tub at 3 in the morning? Well you should try Kaboom!"

I have never been so happy as when the pain-in-the-ass
Bill Mays croaked. He was an odious, obnoxious loud-mouthed fool. l had reasoned that we were finally free of his nerve wracking commercials, but, oh no, his commercials are still being played. May the ass-holes who are responsible for this also croak.
