All Dexter really needs is some time to kill
I haven't seen much of Dexter, but promos like this make me want to go out and get the DVDs. It shows our serial killer hero faced with new pressures: wife, kids, a messy house, and the pressure to find some time for extracurricular activities.

OH man...if you haven't seen "Dexter"...I highly recommend you rent the first season. The first season is the best. You will absolutely fall in love with this series and totally root for Dexter....just my humble opinion.

Haha thanks for posting this! I've been getting hyped up for the new season with all the posters and the trailer and now this! I would definitely recommend the show to you if you are even at all interested. Great writing, great story, very engaging. All three seasons are On Demand right now so there's never been a better time.. I'm watching them all over again myself to tide myself over until the new season starts =)

Can't wait for the new season to start. Got hooked on this show last season, then went out and bought one and two. Season three is out on DVD in the next week or so, I believe, and I'll be buying that, too. This is some of the best stuff I've watched in a long time. If you don't have Showtime, you can watch whole episodes on SHO.com. It's a great show.

>That's one of my favorite songs forever! David Bowie and Freddie Mercury are transcendent.
>I think the last season started to fizzle. They need to recapture some of the magic from the first two seasons.
>I think Dexter needs to get caught. Do you hear that DEXTER writing staff? He needs to get caught and go to trial. Give me a story credit. Thanks.

I still love Dexter but it's definitely losing it's edge. Season 1 was brilliant, season 2 had some mis-steps (imho) and season 3 was definitely off it's game.
Dexter's continued ability to evade capture is becoming a dramatic liability rather than an asset. The issue needs to be addressed, even if it means ending the show.

Dexter has been to involved in his life to realize he is close to losing it, However..
His sister has grown into a very capable potential lunatic.

I just came on to the series last month. The first two seasons are on Netflix Watch Instantly, I got so hooked I bought the third season from iTunes. It's sick how they make you sympathetic towards a murderer, and twisted when you root for him not to get caught. This upcoming season is shaping up to be the best. I can't wait to see how Dexter handles his family life with work and trying to fit in a kill. Please blog about it if you start watching.

I watched the first season on Netflix and fell in love with Dexter. I then ordered Showtime so I could view Dexter without waiting for new DVD's to be released. Right now Showtime is repeating Dexter from the beginning. Currently it is in the middle of the second season and I imagine Showtime will wrap up the third season just before the beginning of the forth season. In my opinion Dexter is the best show on TV. If I could only watch one show (and I watch a ton of TV) it would be Dexter. If you watch the first season you'll be hooked, maybe just with the first episode. It is worth the time to go back and watch it from the beginning. Can't wait for season four.
