Big Brother 11: Live Eviction #3, HoH #4

Jessie nears the end of his HOH reign on Big Brother 11

(S11E10) Regrets, he may have a few, but there's no way he won't brag of his second head of household reign in the Big Brother 11 house. Julie Chen, the beloved ChenBot, might regret saying lines like "it's the banana's final appeal." That was about Casey, a man in a banana suit for the week, nominated for eviction. As much of a groaner as Julie's line was, this show certainly had a few more interesting ones.

"Where is the outrage?" implored Casey the Banana Man after his nomination. I don't know. The real outrage might be that the banana suit is the most horrible one ever on national television. Now, I like Casey. I'd like to see him stay in the game. But he got his game on too late. The show is about looking out for your own interests. It's not a game of trust, have fun, and not go 100% on comps. Casey, my man, you screwed up your own game.

The vote was all but one vote predictable. Casey was up against Jordan. Jordan isn't all that controversial, but Casey is a 40-year old white rapper Mike Boogie wannabe (to an extent) often with a surly temper. Jordan is more goodness, light, lollipops, and fluffy puppies. Oh, not all the time. She did call Ronnie "Jessie's bitch." Every now and then she zings. But Casey, in the long run, has the potential to do more damage.

Knowing he was on the way out the door, he decided to go out with a bang which just mind change the minds of the Jessie sheep herd. Unlike Chima's bleeped speech, Casey's was just as full of vitriol, yet with no racial slurs, it made it through. He called Ronnie a "dorkapotamous." He said Jessie had the brain of a banana and he called the whole house out for being mindless sheep. He said this was their chance to stop following Jessie.

It didn't do him any good. In the voting, he ended up with a sole vote to remain. That one came from Russell, of all people. You see, Russell just might be a man of his word. He had promised Casey he wouldn't vote to evict him and he kept his word. On another note, Lydia thought she was a cool or something as she wore a fake mustache for her vote. I thought it priceless that Julie totally ignored that.

So, the cliques are over. Each player is out for himself. Well, I'm sure Natalie will remain glued to Jessie's coattails. Casey called her right on his way out -- Jessie's little pit bull. Julie not only announced the end of the cliques, but told us that this week's America's Vote is for a coup d'etat. The winner of that has the next two evictions to use the secret power to remove nominee(s) from the block. They can only use the power once. I'm assuming it's good for two weeks in case the winner is the head of household the first week.

In closing, the head of house comp went endurance on us. We knew it was due. it was a graduation party with the hamsters spinning around on a carousel by ropes. They're whacked with a huge foam diploma and rained upon. You can read the spoilers for the competition if you really want to know the winner before Sunday.

Who do you want to see evicted next week?
