I haven't jumped on the vampire bandwagon. I don't have any real interest in Twilight or True Blood or any other vampire show/movie that starts with a T (The Vampire Diaries starts this fall on The CW). But I've liked them for a long time, from the Christopher Lee films to Kolchak to Forever Knight.Grady Hendrix at Slate says that vampire stories suck (ha ha) now, because it's more about feelings and psychology and vampires having normal lives and very little about the biting of people.

Moonlight will always be the best - Mick St. John is the best vampire ever! Alex O'Loughlin rocks and is a brilliant talent, no matter what he does. I can't wait for his new show this fall, Three Rivers, and for his movies, WhiteOut in 9/09 and The Back Up Plan in 1/10! I have all of his work on DVD, and it is all excellent, to say the least - Alex is a star, and I will always miss Moonlight - tho at least I feel lucky to have the DVD.

Moonlight is the most outstanding Vampire show that has come across the TV in my lifetime. CBS or I should Nina Kissler was on the "stupid" track when she/they dumped Moonlight. It had it all, great cast and characters, great story line, CSI, love story between vampire and human, humor (Josef carried the humor), mystery. Moonlight explained what being a vampire ment. Moonlight wasn't too graphic, Moonlight story a family could enjoy. I have watched all of the rest Kindred, the embraced; Interview with a Vampre; Nick Knight, Blade, True Blood, Forever Knight, Blood Ties, Buffy, Twilight, and old gothic shows, and none can compare to MOONLIGHT. Wake up CBS and replace Nina and bring back Moonlight to the wanting public.
