Mythbuster Adam Savage goes undercover at Comic-Con

Mythbusters' Adam SavageI imagine a lot of stalkers must love a place like Comic-Con. All of their most sought after celebrities are together in one place for easy pickings. It must be their Costco.

One star, however, decided to turn the tables on his fans and used his own costume to stalk and hunt down a few of his fans on the floor of this year's convention.

To make it even creepier, he dressed up like a clown. That slurping sound you hear is my spine falling out of its socket from uncontrollable shivering.

Mythbuster Adam Savage attended this year's Con with fellow partner-in-crime Jamie Hyneman for a panel appearance. But before he took to the podium, he roamed the convention floor in his own costume and egged his Twitter followers to sniff him out.

Savage took to the convention's floor on Friday and announced he would be Tweeting from the floor in a special disguise. He then left some tiny mental breadcrumbs through Friday and into Saturday of his whereabouts such as "I just had my picture taken w two other versions of 'me'" and "I am NOT batman. I'm not wearing a fat suit. I AM fully covered. I have scared a couple children." So maybe he went dressed as Jamie Hyneman?

Apparently, his costume was so detailed that it turned out to be more of a disguise since more than 50 fans had their picture taken with him and had no idea who the man was behind the mask.

"5 minutes on the floor," Savage wrote on Friday, "and three people have taken their pic w me. Ha!"

He even turned the stalker tables on his fans by posting "Hey down there! I'm looking at you!" and included a shot of the crowd on his TwitPic page. Finally on Friday, he relinquished his anonymity and released a picture of himself in his secret costume.

Only two people in the entire convention managed to smoke out Savage's disguise. There's no word on what prize they won, but I'm guessing if they're anything like the rest of us here at TV Squad HQ, they won't be washing one of their hands for at least a week.
