Blair Butler of Attack of the Show!, among other programs on G4, is now a cover girl. A comic book cover girl, that is.According to our friends at Comics Alliance, Ms. Butler will adorn the cover of DC Comics' Booster Gold, Issue 23. Apparently, she's Booster's biggest fan.
This is brilliant. This could just be the beginning. Why doesn't DC (or Marvel for that matter) do this sort of thing for one month in which every cover is adorned by an attractive woman wearing a t-shirt of the character?
Mind you, it would have to be ones that actually read comics. Poseurs just wouldn't work. This characteristic may thin the list of available candidates just a bit as the comic book market does tend to gear towards men (although it has gone back to women somewhat in recent years).
Now that I think about it, does Blair Butler actually read the Booster Gold comic book?

Considering her primary job at AOTS is to review comic books and graphic novels (Fresh Ink), I think it's pretty safe to say that she probably does read Booster Gold.

If you watched the G4 Comic Con special you would have seen Blair discussing this, and talking to Dan Didio about it. Blair was extremely excited because she is a huge fan of Booster Gold.
