Big Brother 11: Nominations #3

Natalie thinks she has Jessie in her pocket on Big Brother 11

(S11E08) So, who's the head of household this week in the Big Brother 11 house? Jessie, you say? Well, as is typical for the pinheaded overly-muscled narcissist, he's not really calling the shots. He never does when he's HoH. The last time, it was Russell. This time, it's Natalie. Sure, Jessie thinks he's in charge. He thinks he's only looking out for himself in the game. But he needs to remember that his advisory staff has their own agenda.

Jessie and his women
I just don't understand this. I must be out of the age demographic or something. They're using him, I know that. But it's deeper than that. Both Natalie and Lydia think they have some sort of proprietary rights on Jessie. While Natalie is his loyal sidekick, Lydia is his caterpillar (as he so eloquently explained to us). I think Natalie will be loyal to him for some time to come. Being his sidekick keeps her safe, and if the power in the house changes, he's a bigger target.

The editing on the show has the Jessie/Lydia showmance more innocent than it actually is if you watch the live feeds. I think they want to keep his image pure and muscle-bound ... or something to that effect. I think we'll see her turn on him sooner than Natalie. He listens to both women, but I think he's acting on Natalie's advice this HoH round. She goes around spying on others and reporting back. He's so dense that he doesn't realize her thoughts are becoming his own.

Scheming and dealing
For all the hate in the house for Ronnie, Jessie and Natalie have aligned with him despite the fact that Jessie could win lots of allies for the sake of one rotten Ronnie. Natalie wants Casey out. Lydia wants Ronnie out. Jessie keeps insisting his nominees will be of his own choosing and someone he wants out of the house. Really?

But first, the Have/Have Not comp!
I loved this one. I would like play, please! It was like bumper cars gone frat party as they filled giant cups with giant ice cubes while wearing drunk goggles. As a sidenote, I think some car drivers might be wearing them as they text message here in Jersey. Chima felt targeted. She actually was only targeted by coincidence. Everyone wanted Ronnie on slop and she's in his clique. Poor drama mama. At least she gets to eat cabbage and cocktail wieners!

The nominations
This was all just weird. From his nominations themselves to his "no speech" speech. He nominated two innocuous hamsters -- Jordan and Michele. Then he gave no reason behind the nominations. "I've nominated Michele and Jordan for eviction. This meeting is over." While he told us in a diary room segment that he thinks neither will win PoV, he will; then he'll put the person he wants out on the block. He left his hamsters all hanging. I'm not getting that strategy at all.

It's time
I think it's time the cliques were broken up. The athletes came into this in power and with an extra member. Poor Jordan is now the sole "popular" person. At least in Survivor, when they split into groups like this, they shuffle folks. Oh, and for me, it's time for Ronnie to go home. The twerp irks me.

It's also time to participate in America's Vote once again. We're voting on the foods (once again). This time we can choose squash and squid, brussels sprouts and borscht, or liverwurst and black licorice. I think we're being too good to them.

What foods should the have nots get?
