Bryan Fuller, whose departure from the writing team of Heroes was seen by some as a harbinger of doom for the troubled superhero show, recently announced that despite the cancellation of his triple Emmy Award-winning TV series Pushing Daisies, he plans to continue to the series -- as a comic book with DC.Laura Hudson of sister site ComicsAlliance talked to Fuller at Comic-Con about what's in store for Pushing Daisies after it moves from TV to print, and after he mentioned an interest in superhero comics, she asked if he had any interest in writing superhero comics himself -- and he responded with an enthusiastic "yes!"
Since he's already got the hook-up with DC Comics, who knows what might be in store? Check out Fuller (after the jump) reading a copy of "Wednesday Comics" next to dapper DC VP of Publicity David Hyde, and check back for the video interview CA conducted with Fuller for more.

Ok, um..
1. When it moves from TV to print? What the heck does that mean?
2. "he plans to continue to the series" (?) Are you saying Pushing Daisies is the comic he will write?
This article was poorly written.

Wow. Way to copy and paste a story and not credit the original writer from your sister site.

What part of "Laura Hudson of ComicsAlliance" isn't crediting her with the post? I didn't want to say he spoke to "us" as the original post says, because he didn't. Laura doesn't have access to post here so this was the only way to do it. Don't worry... all arrangements have been made with Laura and CA to share posts.

Yes, I understand that. But if I hadn't gone over to Laura's story at ComicsAlliance, I wouldn't have realized I was reading an almost verbatim rehash. I thought I was coming here for a bloggers fresh perspective is all... even changing a few lines woulda been nice. That's all.

Think of this as us syndicating the CA post. We're doing it sparingly, but if they come up with something interesting, we're going to want to post it. We've only got one person at CC this year, so we're trying to pull news from our partner sites.

Comics? There's not a lot of money in Comics, is there?
Why can't he make movies? Surely he has a pretty big name now. And he's creative and a half.
