TV Squad Blogger: Michael Pascua

Michael PascuaWhere do you write from?
The poor side of Westchester County, NY. I'm working on writing my way out.

Craziest/funniest TV Squad comment you've seen?
I love any comments that involve the words "Jon and Kate plus Eight" or "Octomom" especially when they have nothing to do with the posts they respond in. Anyone who thinks that Kate Gosselin represents the fourth circle of Hell is good in my book.

If you were only able to watch one TV show, what would it be?

I was going to say Jeopardy!, but I realized that I would never get the TV questions right. I would have to go with BBC's Are You Being Served? because I love John Inman's antics and how 70s/80s humor and events like oil shortages can still translate to today's society.

Most overrated and underrated TV show (current or past)?

Overrated: My college buddies are going to kill me but I can't stand Friends. I had to sit through marathons during college and it pained me to sit there and watch. I'll take the original Coupling over Friends.

Underrated: The Cho Show. The show was like Kathy Griffin's but a hundred times funnier and in half the time. The ensemble of her parents, gays, and her assistant were amazing for interaction.

Best benefit of writing for TV Squad?

Feedback. I sometimes write in left field and I love comments because they steer me back to sanity.

Where else can we see you on the web?
