Big Brother 11: Live Eviction #1, HoH #2

Jeff is a Big Brother 11 hamster

(S11E04) Is it just me or does Jeff from Big Brother 11 have a real Jason Bateman thing going on? Of course, Jason Bateman has too much sense to go into the house of hamsters. But then again, this season with its high school theme could be a case of Arrested Development, right? I'm just talking in circles until we get off the main page just in case you haven't seen the show yet. Read on!

Well, it's basically a rather contrived concept -- high school cliques. But what's getting me is that it seems that the houseguests have been teleported through space and time right back to their high school ways and days! I realize the hamsters are fairly young for the most part, but they seem to be reverting back to the evils of high school with ease.

And it's all so stereotypical, too. The jocks are bullies and the off-beats are smart, but dramatic. The brains might have book sense, but they don't always play the game of life too well. Then there are those caught in the middle. Tonight it was Jeff and Jordan (an athlete and a popular kid) in that position.

Since I'm all about being entertained, I was pleased it all turned into a shouting brouhaha. Jordan thinks that Jeff told lies which got Braden put on the block. Lydia thinks Jordan betrayed her when she cried over Braden going on the block. Braden called Lydia a skank, bitch, and ho. Then he lit into Kevin calling him a [bleep]. The show bleeped it but it was the "beaner" slur from the live feeds.

Later in the show, Chima tried to use the slurs to promote herself. It really didn't do her much good, though. The Lips Who Can Fill a Room called Braden a racist and misogynist and "if you vote to keep him, you're a bigot." Oh my. Once again, the exact racial slur was bleeped.

I decided while watching the voting that I'm including Ronnie along with the Power Tools for a quick exit. He's so full of himself and how he plays the game. I think he's made two huge mistakes so far. First, he ran to Braden to tell him he was going to be backdoored. He should have just stayed out of it. Second, he's now aligned himself with the Power Tools ... who have huge targets on their backs. He betrayed his own little group and due to Ronnie's vote, Jess got to vote in a tiebreaker sending Braden home!

Oh, I don't agree with Braden's slurs. But in watching the show and the live feeds, Chima is too much priss and drama for me. I loved it when Casey said he was voting out "Chima's melodramatic behind." As a matter of fact, I'm thinking Casey is the one to watch at this point. He's friend to all, but is definitely playing the game with thoughts of staying in it. True, he sort of betrayed his jock buddies. But he never promised them that he'd vote their way. They knew he didn't care for Chima.

So Braden's gone and Julie Chen said something about Dan (BB10) returning to the house. I doubt he'd be a houseguest. I'm sure it's for some comp or something. However, I find it odd that the ChenBot mentioned it ahead of time. She must think he's a big star who will boost the ratings.

Do you think that Ronnie will put either Jessie or Russell on the block?
